So my volunteering for JL this year is to shop for CPS for foster kids.
I have a $2000 budget this month and I have purchased everything I need so far on Amazon (price comparing to BRU/Target/WalMart) for $221. Which leaves me over $1700 for the 140 outfits I have to buy. They request a max of $8 per outfit, so even if I spend the max, I will still be $650 UNDER BUDGET. And I know I won't spend the max.
I am loving this. Loving!
40 bibs, 30 bottles, 40 receiving blankets, 12 packages of diapers and 24 pacifiers are being delivered on Thursday. The UPS man is going to be stacking boxes all over the place.

So Tasty, So Yummy
Re: So much fun!
That's how I've felt at TCH for years. Love it. remember you aren't under budget that's more items that gets to be purchased for the group since you are frugal. Spend all the dollars.
Sounds like fun!!
I emailed the coordinator to see if I could buy more things. She was skeptical of online purchasing when I first asked if I could do it...lol
