Calling after sending a resume?
We are moving and I am looking for a job after being a SAHM for 2 years. I sent my resume to a real estate company for a receptionist on Thursday, should I call them this week to see if they got my resume, or if they have any questions? Is that weird? I really want this job, but don't have the strongest resume.

Unless the ad specifically said no calls, it's fine to follow up and confirm that they received your resume. And maybe ask if there's a timeline for interviews.
