ugh.
and i have three pimples...??!!
not much to report on here. made cookies last night in the SWELTERING heat of my house and they did not come out ok and I had to throw them all away. mostly i was pissed bc i had to wash the dishes.
tonight i have a 4 mile run, a work bbq, and then i need to start making 50 cupcakes. tomorrow night after my 8 mile run i will finish them. i also need to buy stuff to make fruit salad and regular salad for 40+ people, get hamburger/hotdog condiments for 40 people, buy wine for 40+ people, get a shower gift, pack, and get bachelorette party gifts. all by Friday at 4, mind you.
new blog post later today with some (exciting to me) news. although most of you know it already. check back after 10.
Re: it's only humpday
Shauni- Boo for your cookies not coming out and having to throw them away. Double boo for having to do cookie making dishes with no cookies in return.
I made stir fry last night decided I didn't want it and ate a PB&J. That PB&J was the most delicious thing ever! I also did dishes last night caught up on some DVR.
I'm not sure why my nights when Greg is working go by soooo slow and nights he is home it seems like I get home we eat dinner and the next thing I know it's like 10pm and I'm going to bed. He suprisingly has tonight off so I am excited.
Hello guys. Morning. I'm working from home today. No other news to report. Hoping to actually get some stuff done today. I've been on strike for the past 5 days or so. I blow. I don't plan on working for the next three days too so here's to a productive day!
Shauni...can't people just eat the funky cookies anyway

I would like to eat 50 cupcakes by Friday at 4. No? Godspeed on your errands and cookery.
I am so tired, and my toe hurts, and my joints ache. I feel 100 years old. 35 approacheth. I have started taking calcium.
Last night I went right to my second job (looking for a replacement bathroom mirror). No dice. But I did get rubber cleaning gloves and sunglasses (did not need). I also got my passport photo taken, and that looked like a bag of dicks.
After that I picked some books up from the library and dinner at Old Roman. I went home, ate too much while watching True Blood, then cleaned the bejesus out of the kitchen with Pine-Sol. While cabinets, etc., were drying, I watered my thirsty plants. They hate this heat as much as I do.
Then I finished cleaning the kitchen, unloaded the dishwasher, packed my lunch and gym bag, cleaned the steps with Pine-Sol and watched Teen Mom.
I got in bed and read while MFD watched Deadliest Catch. I did not get enough sleep.
they all spread together and made one giant, tray shaped, THIN cookie. i took a bite. then tossed the rest. slice and bake it is!

Sorry about the cookies, Shauni. This made me giggle a bit, though. :-)
Today is my Friday! I'm supa psyched! Leaving tomorrow morning for WV. Just found out a few friends decided to join last minute, so I'm even more excited. I have to do yoga tonight and then bake some lemon poppy seed muffins and lemon bars to take with us, get all the camping gear together and get the car packed up. Can't wait to get the eff outta here for a few days!
Xtine - you remind me of one of my friends who told me about her cravings when she was preggo. She was in the grocery store and a lady walked by with Rice Krispies cereal and she told herself that if marshmallows were on sale, she'd buy them and make RK treats. Well, she went to the baking aisle and the marshmallows were on sale, she bought them and after she made the RK treats at home, she didn't even want them, I think her husband and step-son ate them, lol.
Last night - I took the dog on a walk, a short 3 miler and no running. got back and made dinner, we had burritos and fresh corn for dinner. I watched Teen Mom 3, made lunches and then called it a night at 10pm (have to or else it's impossible to wake up at 4:15a the next day). Tonight, DH wants to go on a 7 mile run which is fine, but he wants to start at 8pm...I'm going to push for an earlier start time since I don't want to eat dinner at 10pm as it will take us 80 minutes to run. can it be Friday yet?
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Jessie- jealous about the concert (not so much the hangover) Good luck with the test!
Shauni- I'm so excited for you!! You are going to kill it!
My Wednesday is blah. Going to sneak in some WWC while at work. Go Japan! Just hoping today isn't a long day since the rest of the week should go by fast. Heading up to Tahoe this weekend for a break.
hey all!
I've been MIA since Friday morning. Had some testing at the dr. friday. Heard the heartbeat, so we went public on FB Friday. Sunday my allergies kicked my butt. Stayed home monday b/c still felt like poo. J came home monday night and said "I'm glad you're feeling better. you looked like crap yesterday!" Thanks hun!
Yesterday morning I had a 3 hour glucose test since I failed the 1 hr on friday. It sucked. 4 different blood draws, and fasting which started at 8pm the night before. Plus the stuff they make you drink made me sick. I ended up going home afterwards instead of to work. I was a mess! I passed (for now) and have to have the 3 hr. test again at 28 weeks.
Now, I'm playing catch up at work. I'd rather be at home in bed.
moleson - sucks about the glucose, but SO cool you got to hear the heartbeat
That's got to be super exciting. Congrats

Thanks! we had seen the heartbeat flickering when we had an ultrasound at 7 weeks, but yeah, it's different when you get to hear it.
Moleson, glad you passed glucose for now! I haven't taken any tests like that yet, but they do urine testing at every belly check (every 4 weeks), so maybe I've passed those? I have no idea. I just know I would not survive with gestational diabetes without my carbs - dinner last night was just spaghetti - so I hope I hold out.
Heading out to my old office this afternoon to cover court tomorrow. That means I'll spend the night up with my parents tonight, instead of having to get up super early to drive from home. Yay! And my mom said we should order my PBK chair for Predator's nursery tonight, double yay! Spent about half an hour last night looking for my work badge for that office last night, only to find it on the counter (derr) instead of a safe place like my nightstand. I'm an idiot, but at least glad that I finally found it.
My hip hurts so badly that I'm limping, which is really annoying. I think it's pg-related from joint stretching, but I could also just be out of whack still from the long flights last week. Either way, I'm an old lady today, hobbling around the office and currently sitting with a heating pad. Boo.
Predator was moving around so much last night that my belly looked like a scene from Alien. I told H, and he responded, wrong movie, we're having a Predator.
That just made my day.
Ah haha, Predator not alien. I love it.
I have been to zumba, I have worked on a brochure, I have eaten lunch, I have caught up on my blog reading, I have ordered some stuff for my office, I have spoken to some clients, I have cleared off my desk. Can I go home now?
Mush that's great! lol do you have a name for Predator yet?
Moleson Sorry about the GD tests I only did the 1 hr one thank goodness. It takes like sunkist syrup.
Steph I believe that yes you should be able to go home.
The bold parts also go for me as well.
Love it!
Hip problem ladies. Have you tried prenatal yoga? I started at about 20 weeks with E and the stretching you do is amazing and helped me a ton! Just an idea :-)
Thanks, ladies. H makes me laugh too.
Jessie, no name picked yet, and we've been slacking on talking about it! We're way overscheduled until mid-August, but then we should have time to really nest and figure out all this stuff.
I haven't started yet, but I did buy a prenatal yoga video a few weeks ago, and am looking forward to trying it.
