I had a huge fail at dinner last night, thanks to the restaurant being out of the meal I wanted. I was in such a bad mood all day and then made it even worse by making poor poor choices. According to my scale, I'm now up 2.8 pounds from last week-hopefully some if it is just fluid retention due to the massive amounts of salt I've been eating.
B: Vi-shake and OJ
S: mozzarella stick
L: Vi-shake and light chocolate soy milk
S: popcorn
E: walk the dogs OR do C25K tonight, or maybe both
Goal: drink at least 4 glasses of water today. I only had 2 1/2 yesterday.
B: Fiber One Yogurt
L: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 piece of oat nut bread toast
S: String Cheese
E: Gym this afternoon...probably 30 on the elliptical and 30 on the treadmill
So I'm pretty proud of myself being on vacation... I'm still eating fairly healthy:
B: Continental hotel bfast, instant plain oatmeal with milk, bananas and sweet/n/low for flavoring, one piece of wheat bread with peanut butter (protein) and the remainder of the banana...
L: Fast food - Probably Subway or Jack in the Box... will be low calorie
Snacks: Our road food snacks are wheat thins and chex mix so fairly healthy.... might need to stop for a protein smoothie or beef jerky b/c my protein is low
Exercise: We are staying on an air force base tonight so we're going to hit the gym for an upper body workout and maybe somecardio... I'm so proud of myself!!
What's a Vi shake? I'm so out of the loop.
I just got home from the gym, where I jogged the farthest I've ever gone - 3.33 miles nonstop! I'm sweaty like a greased pig and all I want to do right now is go to bed all day.
I don't know what I'm eating, but for dinner I think I might make a Chinese Chicken Salad. Either that or turkey hot dogs with turkey chili.

I do REALLY bad when I'm not on a super structured diet. I know that it is a "lifestyle" change and all that -- but I just can't have too many choices. So basically this is meal replacement shakes for breakfast and lunch, but there are lots of options for add-ins, flavors, etc. So far so good. I'm also tracking my calories and exercise in My Fitness Pal -- which will be helpful if/when I transition to more choice.
