We purchased our cabinets from Lowe's--they offer three lines and we opted for the Shenandoah line, which was the least expensive, but we upgraded to the solid wood.

For a 10' x 10' kitchen, we purchased 10 upper cabinets and 11 lower cabinets (of varying sizes). We have had the kitchen since 2006 and have found that they show very little wear.
