At what age did you send your little ones to preschool? Did you have major anxiety when it came to picking a place?
DD is a stay at home kid and I am having a really hard time even thinking about her going to preschool..even though it will only be a few hours a week.
Did your little one adjust okay going from being at home to being away from you?
Thanks

Re: Stay at home Moms
DD started last September. She was just over 2 1/2.
Honestly, it sucked at first. She only went 1x a week, and she probably cried the first month or so, but then she was fine. She ended up loving it, and would always ask the night before if she was going to see her school friends the next day.
We are sending her this fall for 2x a week, and then she will go 3x a week the next year.
Our older DS started last fall when we moved here at 4 years old. He went to the three day a week, morning program and will be starting kindergarten this fall. Our younger DS, he's 3 1/2, will go to two day a week program this year and another year of preschool next year before going to kindergarten.
They were in an in home daycare program back in Denver, so I wasn't worried about the socialization aspect of school. I was concerned about them getting the structure from school though since their in home was not a structured environment.
The adjusting to being away from me and my anxiety didn't really come into play for us since they were in daycare before we moved here and I became a SAHM.
Holy cow, we're going to have a little sister!!
