QOTD

(can anyone post these?)

What radio station do you listen to? What kind of music does it generally play?

Re: QOTD

  • Of course anyone can post the qotd!

I usually listen to 95.5, 98.7 and 106.7.  It's top 40 with some throw back thrown in.  Other channels I listen to are 88.7, 96.3, 96.7, and 101.1. Those are all over the place.

The majority of my music is on pandora or slacker radio online.  It's easier at work.  Also if you had a favorite station from where you lived previously, see if they are on iheartradio or tunein radio.

  • Im out in Howell and listen to 100.7.  It plays country.  Im a Texas girl and was raised on it.  I love it!

  • I usually just listen to 95.5.  It's a top 40 station.  But I only listen to the radio when I'm in my car on my way to and from work...

  • I almost exclusively listen 1050 (AM) which is an ann arbor sports talk station.  It drives DH up the wall (yes, I'm the sports talk person and DH can't stand it).

For actual music, I usually just listen to 94.7 (classic rock), 93.9 (mix of a lot of stuff w/ a lot of older music, mostly rock & pop, lighter stuff) or 88.7 ('alternative' rock, although it doesn't seem so alternative anymore).

  • Typically 89X or the WRIF (101.1).  Sometimes 94.7 or I'll bounce around to 93.1 or 106.7, but not often.  I like mostly rock music, some pop / top 40, but I hate country so I avoid those stations lol.
  • I mostly listen to 99.5 (country) or 96.3 (the best hits without the rap...lol, that's their slogan).  I really like 96.3 morning show.  I also listen to 1030 am, it's a Christian station.

This is me, too.  Although, I usually just have my iPod hooked up in the car.

  • I am all over the place.  On my long 4 mile commute Stick out tongue I listen to either 96.3 or 101.1 in the morning. I also listen to 99.5, 100.7 (lansing station) 93.5, 106.7. I flip around to random stations.

  • in the morning usually 89x or 96.3 since I like their morning shows.  Otherwise it's 99.5, 93.9, 96.3, 106.7, 95.5 (though I HATE all their dj's).

I do have 92.9 preset because it's static and that usually calms DD down if she's freaking out.

  • I don't do a lot of driving and therefore don't listen to the radio a lot.  However, when I do it's usually 99.5 (Country), 100.3 WNIC (Easy Listening, I guess you'd say) or 96.3.

My new car came with Sirius radio. In the month I've had it, I've become obsessed! LOVE it!

  • I don't listen to the radio a whole lot, but when I do it's usually NPR.  Which is nice for my long drives across the state, because I can usually just change the channel and keep right on listening to the same program.

Yes, another sports talk gal!!! whooo hoo  Big Smile

We have Sirrus in our minivan & we just renewed it for 3 yrs, I love it, esp. when we traveled to Baltimore & Chicago, it was nice not having to change the station every 50 miles!

At home I only listen to the radio in our bedroom, it's set to 97.1, sports talk all the way!  If they're on a subject I don't care for, I'll usually turn it to 106.7, I love dance/upbeat music (over Memorial Day weekend they played some old school stuff that just rocked!)

  • Generally 96.3 in the mornings on the way to to work.  On the way home it's either 96.3, 95.5, 98.7, or a few other I have stored but I don't know the dial numbers.

Or if everything is really bad I just listen to my iPod.

    I used to listen to 95.5, 98.7 and 106.7

BUT i just got a new car and it has satellite (actually it's a used car so I'm a little worried that it's going to be turned off one of these days since I didn't pay for it) And I am way into 90s on 9 and Pop2K on there.
