this WTF is for DH's boss:
We're still battling the trip issue w/ DH's work. Its escalated to 2 higher ups so far... And our only option is the week of Labor Day which is ok for crowds/timing but I made my dining reservations IN MARCH. MFers... I'm not only losing all my planning, I'm also now going on my birthday trip A MONTH early. I'm not thrilled.
DH is not the one I'm mad at though. Its his boss' "well you should only take a day or two for vacation" attitude that is pissing me the F off. HEY! PSYCHO! Not everyone is a workaholic like YOU!

Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Yeah, that kind of happened to an old coworker. Sh*t hit the fan, and they made him cancel his vacation to Florida because he was the strongest guy they had. They did reimburse him for it, but I still think that was crud. Actually, the really crappy part was that they later laid him off. I still can't figure out why they laid off their best guy.. the only thought was because of the salary he was making.
I hope that everything works out!
Ditto. WTF is my digestive system currently hating me? Boo.
Thx Julie.
he called his old boss (same Co, different area/department) to lay out the situation in purely a "am I crazy or is she just a workaholic??" scenario. Old boss says new boss is nuts, and would he rather come back and work for her? HA! The only downside is it would be a backward move, and he's not sure about the pay, and he left that job for a solid reason - he wanted more opportunity to move upward/onward. But now the offer is out there, he's considering it.
His newer boss is just a bad manager and he's been in a crummy situation for a few months (their main project is just a sinking ship). It could just be a downtime, but its been rough stress-wise for monnnnnnnnths and DH really needs a new job.
I'm trying to get him hired within MY co, ASAP!
