ME- just the basics
DH- YES!
DH owns a machine and can do hems, patches, and other stuff.
When in the military he would charge just under what the NEX charged for patches to be put on and made a fortune. (A promotion roughly costs 75$ a uniform in patchwork) on deployments he did all his friends plus some.
I have an OLD machine that folds into a table once I have a big enough place we will fix and put out and DH can use that and maybe me. When I was younger I was taught and used it often but stopped when my grandma couldn't help me anymore due to illness.
