Birthday snacks at daycare?
Do you send snacks/treats to daycare with your kids for their birthday? I just thought about this and should really get on it since they would have to go Friday
I was just thinking Archer Farms fruit leather or maybe Annie's fruit snacks.

Re: Birthday snacks at daycare?
Yeah, I can't bake anything b/c Evan can't have much dairy or any eggs....and I haven't quite figured out the tricks with egg replacer yet. I know he can have (and loves) fruit leather and he's the only one with food issues. He's never had fruit snacks but I hear Annie's are safe

Depending on your dcp, you may have to have it be store bought. It sounds like alot of dcp's are pretty lax about that, but I know our center has it right in their manual - nothing with nuts and has to be store bought.
When I worked in daycare, we had several parents who brought treats for the teachers (cookies, cupcakes, something unhealthy), and then brought cheerios or something "safe" for younger kids to try eating.

We do treats. I don't believe any of the daycare kids have allergies. I did cake pops last year.
I think the fruit treats are a great idea!
