Casey Anthony is moving to Texas
Re: Casey Anthony is moving to Texas
I hear she also has family in Houston and Pearland.
That would be unfortunate. However, I don't think she is likely to have things go away so fast for her. I am sure Andrea Yates would get the same reaction even today.
Or OJ. You don't forget this kind of "alleged" crime. At least Andrea Yates had documented issues. Casey well; likes to party.
This should be interesting. Maybe we'll run into her and she can help people like our friend from Baker Street get into clubs since the frumpy bunch can't :-)

This exactly. Although, I hope I'm in the truck... I would hate to put a dent in the Charger.

Totally entitled to your own opinion, but you're definitely in the minority.
In the eyes of the law, she is not guilty. I don't think she murdered her daughter, but in reality, none of us really know.
So Tasty, So Yummy
My thoughts exactly. Although I am a full believer that not guilty does not equal innocent. I hope that she is able to restart her life somewhere without being harassed and feeling like her life is in constant danger.
I just have a hard time understanding why someone would hide the death if it was an accident. Even if she left her daughter unsupervised for a moment and she fell into the pool... that would most likely gain her sympathy rather than criminal charges. Things just don't add up. Her entire family was making up lies and pointing the finger at each other (which of course helped her case). If it was an accidental death, why go through all that trouble?
I try to put myself in her shoes and if (God forbid) something awful happened to one of my kids, I most certainly wouldn't hide their death or go on with my life like nothing ever happened. The only reason I can see for doing something like that is if you are guilty of causing the death and not wanting to get into serious trouble.
I don't know... she may not be guilty in the eyes of the law but one of these days she will be judged. For some reason, I don't think that outcome is going to be a good one.

I have reason not to trust culturemap's sources.
I don't doubt that something happened, it was bad and there is some kind of cover up. Still, that does not mean she is guilty of murder. She may be guilty of a lot of other things, but she was on trial for murder and the prosecution did not prove their case. They have no idea how that poor little girl died, so really anything is possible. I don't think we'll ever know the truth.
I think that whole family is a train wreck.
