HELP! Milk and egg allergy

My best friend and her husband are coming to stay with us for a weekend with their 2 girls.  Their younger daughter (18 months) is allergic to milk and eggs.  Does anyone have any good recipes?  Or know of good snacks I could get for while they're here?

TIA!!

  • Maybe check babycenter.com for some ideas?  If it were me, I would email the mom and ask her what they usually have on hand.  It is so much easier to travel somewhere and not have to go grocery shopping once you arrive.
  • I haven't tried any of these recipes, but here's a couple blogs with some ideas for ya:

I did, she told me not to worry about it and she would bring food for her since it's "so hard to find things."  They're traveling from out of state, so I want to at least have some things here when they get here, even if we do have to go to the store once they get here.

Well, crap.  Would the husband be more helpful?  Odds are he won't think twice about it being a PITA for you to go get stuff.  Men are like that.  Or post on the bumps special needs board maybe?

  • There is a food allergy board on the bump now. I'd post over there

  • Thanks for the suggestions!
