The letters in the picture are 5cm x 4mm, so....almost 2" tall and around 1/16 of an inch thick.
ETA: I would probably look at someplace like an office supply store or even a sign shop.
A former neighbor has a sign shop, and DH used to get things done for his last job....I was amazed at the reasonable prices and variety of things they sold/made there.
