Funny things Emma said Up North this past weekend

Some of you may recall the story about Emma calling me a "butthole" a while back.  This is somewhat along those lines.

While Up North this weekend, DH and Emma were playing out on the lawn kicking a beach ball around.  DH kept kicking it kinda' high and over Emma's head, so she said to him "Don't do that again Dad," followed by "You're gonna' piss me off". Indifferent

DH and I just looked at each other and said "did she just say what I think she said?" We shouldn't have done it, but we couldn't help but laugh.  DH then said "You know she gets that from you, right?" because I'll admit, I've been known to say things like that to the dog when he gets into the trash. Embarrassed Thankfully that was the only time she said it....and hopefully the last.

***

She also asked DH if she could watch some T.V., so he turned it on and some random cartoon was on.  Emma said to him "I want to watch a girl show, Dad."  Dh says "A girl show?" and then she said "Yeah.  One with bunnies". LoL... completely random.  She also asked my Dad to tell her a "girl story" one night.  He ended up telling her a story about princesses and carousels. haha!

***

She also kept telling me that I was a Noodle all weekend long.  I have no idea what that is even supposed to mean, but it was funny.  She told my Dad that he was a rooster.  She also told DH that he was a king, I was a queen, and that her (and Lily) were princesses.  I think I'd rather be a queen than a noodle. Big Smile

I do Amanda.  I try to write in it every week and write down the funny/crazy stuff she did that week.  I know it'll be hilarious for her to look back on it when she's older.

  • Hahaha, those are all really cute stories!  Definitely write them down so you can embarrass her with them later on in her life!

  • I love that your dad tells her princess and carousel stories. My dad would tell my kids about barns or windmills or some random gossip from his town.

And I agree, a queen is much better than a noodle!

    She's a cutie!

Oh, and can I tell you a funny T said today. We were snuggled up, reading a book, and he farted a very stinky fart. He plugged his nose and said 'It wouldn't be so bad if I lost my nose"  I'm not sure where that came from :)

I was surprised that he came up with such a good story myself! It was really cute.

That's a funny story about your little guy too.  I'm constantly scratching my head thinking "where in the world did she come up with that?!" too.  You should be writing it all down too!
