To the board, not to much else.
It's been about a year and a half since my knot days, and I've since been wandering around on other nest boards, but I thought it was time to join my locals! I'm not sure if you guys like intros, or just to jump right in, but here I am ![]()
A bit about me: My husband and I were married in Jan 2010. We live 20 minutes outside Sacramento. I'm a social worker, he's an engineer. I have 2 cats, he has a dog, and we're still working on getting our little blended family to love (or tolerate) each other.
Feel free to ask any questions, otherwise, I'll catch ya on another post.
Re: New....and now with PIP!
Welcome! We like new people and their intros
We're a curious bunch (well, at least I am).
There are some great Sac-area nesties here so you are in good company. Are you from that area originally or did you guys move here from elsewhere?
Where did you get married?
Good to hear, thanks!
Born and raised in the area. I moved to Long Beach for a few years for college, but have otherwise always lived within a half hour or so of Sacramento.
We were married at the Flower Farm in Loomis. They have a big, gorgeous, red barn....so beautiful!
welcome, i'm in roseville/lincoln.
Grew up in loomis area. The Flower Farm is beautiful. Pics please!!
Welcome to the board!

Welcome! I also live about 20 minutes outside of Sac! What area do you live in? I live in Citrus Heights, but we plan on moving up to El Dorado Hills in the next year or so (where we are both from).
Glad to have you here!
Welcome! I'm pretty new, too (only introduced myself a few weeks ago, I think) but the ladies here are great!
I'm from (near) Auburn, so not too far from you!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
If someone can give me a PIP lesson, I'll post some wedding pics.
Anyplace called the flower farm has got to be pretty.
Regarding the pics, see the little tree button above? Click that. A box will pop up with an option for you to put in a link to a photo. The photo needs to be hosted somewhere like photobucket or other website. Copy the sucker in there, hit insert and then resize (sometimes you have to click off and on the pic to get the ability to resize).
Now, show us the wedding pics!
Let's give this whole PIP thing a whirl....
