Intro and Sewing Pics
Heya,
I'm new to this board also. I sew, mainly for my gorgeous kid. Although my main project lately has been gestating this baby in my belly!
I started out sewing by making clothes for my dolls when I was little. My Grandmother was a professional seamstress/dressmaker and my mom sewed lots of my clothes too. So sewing for my daughter gives me a connection to them that I love. I am completely addicted to Oliver & S patterns and am a test sewist for their patterns so I can get my grubby hands on them before general release! I also have a crazy love of japanese fabrics and Liberty of London.
Here are some pics of a few of my projects:
(Ignore the water spill on this dress. I wanted a snow white dress that wasn't store bought polyester that would be sweaty in the FL sun, so this dress is cotton!)
