s/o You Can Try on Lip Color
I was reading the product fail post below and someone mentioned trying on lip color first. How does this work? I"ve tried on eye shadows, blushes, etc.. but never lip color. Do they have a brush?
I would be skeeved out thinking someone may have really used it on their lips.
Re: s/o You Can Try on Lip Color
I wipe the outside with an alcohol soaked tissue (like they do at the make-up counter), and then use either a brush or a Q-tip.
There's no way I'm buying a $15-30 lipcolor without at least attempting to try it on!

although, I still only wear lipstick maybe once a month and have a drawer full of them that are just collecting dust. I'll pile makeup on the rest of my face, but for some reason even the most natural shade of lipstick makes me feel like a painted lady :-(

Ha - me too! I literally have an entire drawer (okay, it's a small drawer, but still) of lipsticks and glosses and the only thing I really wear religiously is Burt's Bees lip balm.
