Brunch ideas?

We're getting together with my husbands family on Saturday for brunch, but we don't know where to go. We went to Wheatfields last year, so something similar to that. The further out west the better. Any other suggestions??

Re: Brunch ideas?

  • Granite City buffett - soooo yummy. I also know people who have gone to Le Peep and they have a couple locations out west.
  • I HEART the Granite City buffet!  It is a little pricey, but they have prime rib!  AND, they have this awesome eggs benedict station where you could get things like spinach artichoke dip on your eggs benedict (or plain if that's not your thing).  They also always have their yummy mashed potatoes with burgundy mushroom gravy...and you can get bottomless Mimosa's for something like 8 bucks?

  • Mimi's at Village Pointe.

  • Mimi's Cafe at Village Pointe is really good!  Firebirds might do a brunch too?  Not sure.

  • I thought of a few others we like:  Dixie Quicks (moved to CB, but amazing items such as Apple Brie Omelets), Taxi's (120th and Blondo), and Upstream!
  • My favorite is Upstream brunch. The biscuits and gravy are AMAZING. Mimi's is good too...if you sign up for their emails they will send you a coupon...the one I got was BOGO free breakfast! :)

  • I have heard Crave's is good.

  • Farmhouse is great!
