i am going insane and need some style. as usual, my hair has hit collarbone length and i've gone to ponytail-every-day. i kind of miss having a hair "style". i don't know if i should keep the length and just have it trimmed up/shaped, or just CUT it. it is fine/thin so long = scraggly with no volume at the top whatsoever... and i'm not the kind of person who spends more than about 10 minutes on my hair daily.
i'm thinking maybe short in the back with the front longer, angling to the corner of my jaw or something. any good pics?

you can do it. you just have to commit...lol.
i think i do short well since my hair is so naturally lifeless. the longer it gets, the more lifeless it gets. i also have a big long horseface , so having lots of different lengths around my face and no hair past my jawline helps to chop it up.
every now and then i get all "i'm gonna grow my hair out!" then i'm miserable all the while, and much happier once i get it all chopped off. lol, jamicanbride knows what i'm talking about.

This is totally me. LOL My hair is the longest it's been in 5 years and it gets pulled up pretty much every single day at some point, except when I actually take the time to blow dry it straight AND flat iron it. That's a lot of work when you have a lot of freaking hair!

This next one is my favorite and I wish I had the courage to do it! I love the cut and color. If I was 10 years younger I could pull it off.

the one on fb is what i'm taking in with me... it looks a lot like the third one FKB posted (my hair isn't as thick as that person's so it'll be a little less poofy).
i LOVE that red, it is SOOO CUTE. only problem with the darker hair on me is when i have on no makeup, it makes me look ill. and the blonde roots growing out produces a balding effect, it's hot!
FKB, i love red hair on you. that would look awesome, and i don't think you're too old for the look either.
