As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Re: Pinterest?
it's a tool so when you're on the net and you like something you can "pin it" and organize it on boards so you have it to see later. it's kind of like favorites but you can see them visually all in one place, and you can organize them easily. you can also have friends on there so when you go there you can see what your friends have pinned and add the pin to your own boards if you like it.
it's a cool thing to have if you're interested in cooking or decorating. i like it because you can add a button called pinmarklet to the bar on your screen and then you can easily pin anything without having to go to pinterest first.
it's invite only though so you have to know someone on it to join. that doesn't appear to be a problem in either of your cases though.
It's a thing where you can essentially bookmark pictures of things (recipes, books you want to read, etc). You can also serch like (July 4th Desserts) and all these pictures of things will come up. Almost like a picture google that links to the website.
I was very uninterested until I actually started using it. Now I use it a lot for recipes, decorating ideas and DIY/Craft type things. You get hooked on it for sure. You can put a little Pin It thing on your toolbar and if you see something you like you just click that button when you're on the website and tell it which board to save it to.
I have a "Things I Want" board that I pin things to all the time b/c I stay logged in on my computer so my H can see it and get gift ideas. Ha!

Yea, that's a great idea! Perfect for Christmas time too when people ask you what you want! Save pics all year long and you'll be prepared.
