Speaking of reusable shopping bags...

I think I'm going to take my own advice and get a cute reusuable shopping bag for a wedding shower this weekend instead of a gift bag.

Anyone know who has cute reusuable shopping bags?  All of mine are boring ones from Wegmans or free ones from Whole Foods.

  • This is such a good idea.  I hate spending money on wrapping paper because it just gets trashed....unless you're my MIL who takes it off very carefully and folds it up for later :/

  • I do this, and I think people appreciate it.  The Christmas Tree Shop has some.  They also have some Christmas ones out with Santa on the beach.  I am assuming Christmas in July, but I am going to buy them for my Christmas presents.  And, the "generic" ones are just prints without any store names.  Also, I saw breast cancer ones at Ulta.
  • What about a fun beach tote?  I assume the couple will be taking a honeymoon somewhere hot?
  • It's probably too late to order, but for the future, cafepress.com has some really cute food/kitchen themed totes and reusable bags.

  • Thanks for the ideas all.  I should have looked at target where I got her gift.

I will have to check out christmas tree shop and home goods.  Gifts are bath items in brown and blue, some with leaves on them.  I'm sure I can find something leaf themed.

  • I second homegoods
  • I have a Homegoods date at lunch now.  My cousin is very green with a degree in environmental science, not sure why I didn't think of this before.
  • I am always on the look out for cute reuseable shopping bags rather than just the boring ones.  Walmart had some really nice ones, but I don't know if they said walmart on them or not.  Christmas tree store has them.  And Michael's crafts too.  Also, even though I would not pay the price of $8.00 each, but verabradley.com sells them too.  You could probably get them in a vera bradley store though.
  • I received one from TJ Maxx.  I use it ALL THE TIME!

I have also seen them at Marshalls and Homegoods.

  • Not for this weekend, obviously, but Baggu bags are my favorite: http://baggubag.com/#Shop
  • I know you want to use this as a giftbag but those Envirosax bags are great. You can get a pack of 5 for $25 on amazon. Last Christmas I put people's gifts in them.

LOVE these. I actually use one every day to tote DDs stuff to daycare. Between her daily lunch bag and the weekly supplies of sheets, blankets, diapers, wipes etc. I always have a bagfull.

I never thought to use one for that! Great idea!
