I just need everything today.
As part of a gift, I want to give some beer. The recipients are beer connoisseurs and home brewers so I want something unique and/or new.
Have you run into any great new beers? Maybe a new seasonal, or a new craft brew. Or even something unusual?
I would be open to 750 ML big bottles or available in 6 packs.
Re: New beer recs.
We refer to Ten Fidy as "knockout juice" in our house. It is great stuff!
Also, I have become addicted to DFH's Sahtea. I enjoyed 2 bottles of it down the shore last week and have another bottle in the fridge here.
I drank Green Flash's Trippel also while I was down the shore. Excellent!
We also picked up a bottle of Brew Dog's Dogma for a friend. He is a fan of Brew Dog and we knew he hadn't tasted this before. Not sure how it is, but the ingredients were of interest to me: "brewed with Scottish heather honey, poppy, kola nut and guarana."
Waiting in the fridge yet to be enjoyed: Mokah (Southern Tier), Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti (Great Divide), and Summer Saison (Green Flash).
Note: all of the above bottles (except Ten Fiddy) are large bottles.
I know she loves stout, so I'll definitely check out the Ten Fidy. Looks like I have to go to West Deptford to find it in NJ, but two recs here will make it worth it.
I'll check out the others, I knew I could count on you guys.
I've been in a summer beer rut, so my mind was drawing a blank. My current decisions usually revolve around, should I get the regular or the raspberry wheat beer?
I've had the Sahtea, I'm a big fan. I'm excited to go to their brewpub down in Rehoboth a couple times next month. Think we're going to head over to their brewery for a tour as well.
When we went to Rehoboth we went there one night. None of us were impressed. It was all dark beers and nothing summery. I'm hoping this year will be different.
