QOTD - 7.14.2011

What was the last movie you saw in the theater?

Bonus Q - Was it great, awful, something you'd recommend?

Re: QOTD - 7.14.2011

  • Transformers 3D IMAX. It was better than I thought it would be, but we got there just as it started so we were practically in the front row and I started getting motion sick.

You're all going to laugh at me...."Fast 5".  It wasn't award winning by any means, but it was entertaining.

  • Transformers 3D--It was better than I expected it to be, but I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't my husband's choice.

Wop, we also saw Fast 5, which was better than expected as well.  It reminded me of the first Fast and Furious movie, which was great fun.

Yes, the movie was very good and I'd recommend it.

I know I've mentioned before, but I have a hard time watching movies due to either falling asleep because I'm sitting still or because they tend to tear me up emotionally so I just don't go.  I would do comedies but seriously, I haven't found anything I like since Meet the Parents (1).

  • Bridesmaids.  It was good and I'd recommend it.

(Tigers, I think it might be a good comedy for you!)

  • We saw X Men: First Class and I really liked it.  Entertaining, good story, mostly good acting, good special effects.

  • Gnomeo and Juliet.  It was cute.  I was impressed by the parallel w/ Shakespeare.
Willa 4.6.06 and Henry 10.18.08 Camp Sinki
  • Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I do love Capt. Jack.

Bridesmaids. It was okay, I wasn't upset that I went, but it didn't live up to the hype in my eyes.

This reminds me, I accidentally won IMAX tickets to the latest Pirates movie a while ago. Hmm. Is that still in the IMAX theaters? I've never seen any of the Pirates movies, so I wasn't really motivated to go.

I think this was the last one I saw as well, but I honestly can't remember.  Embarrassed

    I liked it.  Yes

I actually did like the Hangover and this seemed kind of like it right?

I think the humor was sort of similar.  Bridesmaids seemed pretty unique to me though.

  • It was back when I was pregnant...and since when I was pregnant I had no brain power, I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.  It was the one about dream manipulation.  I was having contractions throughout the whole thing and kept having to go to the bathroom....so yeah....cannot even tell you enough about the movie to say it was good or not!

  • Hm, I had to think about this to remember.  I think it was The Fighter.  We saw last holiday season with my parents.

I enjoyed it.  It was definitely good, but not great.
