Third Person Thursday
Stacey let the b!tch office associate across the hall have it this morning and will probably get fired for it. The b!tch office assoc. has a habit of campaigning to her boss (the boss of everyone in Stacey's college) to get people fired when they do something she doesn't like. Stacey stood up for herself and called her out on something she did wrong that affected Stacey's job. Stacey would LOVE her job if it wasn't for said demon and her minions.
Stacey is a hormonal mess.

Kelly is proud of stacey for standing up for herself!!!!! Kelly decided today would be a tv-free day since kelly and laine went to a movie yesterday and then pretty much watched tv the rest of the day...Laine gets super fixated on the tv, and kelly is concerned laine's tv habits will be just like hers.
Kelly needs new bras...desperately! Kelly thinks bra shopping is one of the worst things on the face of this earth, but she has to go...kelly's girls just aren't the same anymore.
Kelly has relaxed about the moms group lunch tomorrow...the movie with laine yesterday was really fun (part of a whole parent's network, not the little group), and kelly decided that she and laine should be doing fun things everyday! kelly says, who cares if the breakfast dishes sit a few hours?!
Kelly is so excited for all the mamas-to-be that are getting so close!!! for a go-into-labor trick, kelly HIGHLY recommends evening primrose oil caplets. Kelly's OB told her to shove one up the pocket book (one of kelly's students refers to lady business as her pocket book...kelly hasn't been the same since) 3 times a day once kelly hit 39 weeks. after 5 doses, kelly was at the hospital. Kelly really believes it was the oil that jump started the labor, and also made the labor so quick (evening primrose oil is supposed to soften the cervix).
Mar wants Kelly to know that Felicity is the same way! Mar and her Dh put a limit on tv in their home. On weekends the television isn't allowed to be on until noon, and on weekdays it's off from 11-3. Mar and her Dh instituted it when they started transitioning their home into a calm household.
Mar feels like today should be a good day! She's gotten a shower and a baby free breakfast while her Dh spends time with their daughter before he goes to work this afternoon. They're going to run quickie errands and go grocery shopping before Dh goes to work. And Mar has also started looking at furniture for their new house, which if it even happens wont be until next year... She's getting a little ahead of herself..

Shaina is so happy today is her Friday!! Shaina is going to get someshit done around the house tomorrow. Donating stuff to goodwill and the spca and putting some things up on ebay.
Shaina really wants to buy her DH a new grill with her step increase that comes this month. Shaina continues to check pricing in the hopes that the grill will be even lower.
Shaina is not looking forward to her DH's reunion. Shaina will know like 5 people there, isn't from the area like most everyone else DH graduated with and is 9 years younger.

Shelley is not looking forward to spending the next 2 hours training someone on a couple reports she does so they will be covered while she is out on maternity leave. Because of this training Shelley will have to sign off during that time. She will be back around lunch.
Shelley didn't get much sleep last night. It was the first night that her LO actually kept her awake and woke her up. She hopes it's not a sign of things to come and it will just be an occassional thing and not an every night thing.
Shelley is really looking forward to the first of 2 childbirth/parenting classes this weekend. She knows that most of what is taught there will probably be on how to be a good patient and not very useful but is still excited. She thinks her DH is excited and very anxious about it.
Teresa had a really good night Tuesday hanging out with her cousin and her 12wk old little girl. We had a girls night while her H was at band practice and gave her daughter a bath and just relaxed and played a bit. She is so adorabe and was so content that night and quiet, though she did "talk" up a storm after her feedings. Teresa couldn't believe how big she had gotten in the month since she had seen her.
Teresa is so freaking excited for Harry Potter tomorrow and wishes she didn't have to work tomorrow so she could go to the midnight showing tonight. Stupid responsibilities and being an adult ruining my movie fun

Teresa is so excited about her "interview" on Tues. She is glad this job stuff is moving fast and hopes she is a permanent emplyee by the end of the month! Teresa will do a separate post to ask for advice on interview clothes.

Whitney is glad Stacey stood up for herself!
Whitney is starting to get really bored with this staying at home 3 days a week thing. She had a major breakdown yesterday. It reminds her of when she was unemployed and desperate for stuff to do and people to be with. Ben thinks that all will be fixed once Pumpkin comes but Whitney thinks it will be worse because she will be trapped in the house with a little lump that does not talk back. She needs outward stimulation and grown up conversation.

Brie also thinks it's good that Stacey stood up for herself. It's not always easy, but it's important to let that coworker know that what she's doing isn't cool and that Stacey won't just sit back and let herself get steamrolled.
Brie is totally swamped at work, but actually feels like she's making progress today. Nice feeling.
Drew is having some of the guys over tonight to hang out which means Brie gets to spend some much need time upstairs in the office getting schoolwork done and getting some things organized so that they can paint the guest room this weekend. Brie is excited to finally get that room going. :-)

Summer is pretty sure the big boss probably loves Stacey and won't believe what the biotch co-worker says, if she says anything. Maybe now she'll be scared of Stacey now and will watch her mouth! :P
