My Goodness...another food blog. Featuring: Macarons from a old post with a photo taken by my mom for a break from my crappy food photos!
We are having a rather impromptu cook-out this Sunday (as in H confirmed with me yesterday that is in fact, on). He has invited about 30 people, so it's quite the undertaking on short notice. My parents came over, my Dad put together my shelf, he helped me weed the back yard. My mom cleaned the extra upstairs bathroom and made SS's bed/picked up his room. Helped me sort through my serving stuff (bowls, plates, etc) to see what I need. They are the best (even though they drive me crazy).
The mudroom is *almost* done. I am going to have to postpone the painting of the trim and the ugly wood the hooks go on, but it looks awesome already. I love the paint color. I need to get my wipe board/cork boards hung and accessorize. I want to find a reclaimed wood bench, and some pretty throw pillows. Maybe a big pretty canvas for over the shelves. But just with the paint and shelves-soooooo much better.
