What's a business we can start....
....where we could all work together from home and make enough money to live?
Seriously. I want to be my own boss. Who's in and what's your idea?! Could we sell something?

Re: What's a business we can start....
I am so feeling ya lately. MIL just got approved to make her house a B&B (she bought it in hopes of doing this) and said she wants me to be the event planner so I should start a business. I so wish I could.
Or I wish I had design skills and could make cards or stationary and stuff (you know we love that stuff!). Although, I could make some cute stuff with my Cricut!
Well, I guess I'd either need to start my own business so she could either use my services or I'd work for her I guess? And the latter ain't happening.
Starting a business just seems hard. I don't know where to start. Back in 2003 when my bff and I were laid off we were thisclose to starting our own event planning business, got books and stuff to figure it out but then we didn't - I think it just seemed too hard and then her MK business took off so it just fell aside.
Well, one place to start would be Etsy, if there's something to be made...I know you can buy printables on there so that's something...
Phone sex operators?
Although once the kids were old enough to know what we were saying, we might be SOL.
Wives Unscripted
That's fantastic!!
Just make sure you're not actually partners -- so much liability being partners in a B&B! Eeeek! Incorporate yourself so you can't be personally sued if anything goes wrong at the B&B
Incorporation actually is pretty easy. A smart girl like you could probably do it on your own.
I just had a brilliant idea earlier tonight, but I'm not sure how it could make us any money, and it's a pretty limited target population (but so is a phone sex business! LOL!) How about a puzzle swapping site like PBS, but for puzzles? No one does the same puzzle twice.
Yes, I thought of this as I was thinking of what MH and I could do tonight, but we don't have any new-to-us puzzles.
Honestly, I have no idea. I think it's really one of those "it's not what you know, it's who you know" kind of things. I've been lucky enough to meet several PR people in my circle of friends, and it's because of them that I've made the connections that I have.
I still think it would be awesome to for us to all do a collaborative blog - if done correctly, we could really monetize it.
