Thankful Thursday!

Ok ladies and gentleman, let's hear it.

What are you thankful for at the moment?

Here are mine:

1. I'm so thankful for my older sister. She is amazingly supportive when I need her, despite the fact that she is going through a difficult time herself. I'm so lucky to have her.

2. I'm thankful that DoggyE is so sweet. She is so fantastic with DS and I love seeing them together. And everytime he cries, she runs to him to help out. It is so freaking cute, I can't stand it!

  • This morning I am very thankful for Advil! lol

  • LadyE, #2 is so adorable!

I'm thankful that my procrastinating tendencies did not cause me to miss a deadline for getting an important form filed.

I'm thankful that my husband has the patience of a saint and, therefore, can deal with me :)

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I love DoggyE and am thankful she has a safe, sweet home now.

I also am thankful for my chill DoggyB and how awesome she is.

I'm also very thankful for coffee this morning after a 5 a.m. wake up call by DS, followed by him downing a boobful of milk in under a minute, which was promptly puked up all over my face and my hair.

I'm thankful this is my Friday.

  • I am thankful for my mother and husband, who understand how I am feeling as of late.

I am thankful for a/c! I've been sweating balls!

  • OMG Punky, that is a rough start to the day.

I am thankful for the awesome summer weather.

  • I'm thankful that our dog is starting to figure out that maybe, just maybe, he shouldn't pee in the house just because we left him home alone.  And also that about 60% of the time, he has started looking to me for my response before he starts freaking out on the neighbors. (He has a very shrieky bark when he gets going.)

I'm also thankful that my husband puts up with my cranky arse.  Because I have been extra cranky lately.

And I'm reaaaaally thankful that I am out of here at 4 today. (Though I totally should have said 3 instead.)

LOL DS does this at his 5am feeding, too. I think when they sleep eat, it comes right back up for some reason.

But I'm thankful today that he slept through until 5am, he didn't wake up at 2am like he has been the last couple of weeks!

  • I am thankful that my novocaine is FINALLY wearing off.  OMG.  I got a cavity filled at 10am this morning and figured I'd be good to go by noon.  It's nice to no longer feel like I could chew off my tongue at any minute without realizing it.

I'm doing this on Saturday and am so not looking forward to the novocaine.

On a side note, as a kid the dentist we went to never used novocaine for fillings so I was surprised the first time I got it as an adult.

It's funny because I ALWAYS got novocaine as kid, but never get it as a adult. My dentist thinks I'm crazy but I never feel anything, so I would be numbed up for nothing.

  • I am thankful for this fantastic weather today.  I was able to take DoggieCrushing for a short walk without worrying about him getting overheated.
