Interesting article (to me) re antibacterial stuff

For years I have been on an anti-anti-bacterial crusade.  It's not as sexy as vaccines or parenting techniques, etc. but it's my cause.  I came across this article which is not too dry, and about as entertaining as a scientific article can be.  Thought I'd share...

  • "Be especially sure to wipe your children down. Children are just about the grimiest thing in the world."

    Ba-hahahaha!

Seriously though, the article is interesting....I believe I have read something similar in the past.  Whenever I hear about all the new "technology" like this, all it does is make me wonder: how did people ever manage to survive prior to this? (note sarcasm)  Sometimes I wonder if stuff like this is really making life better, or is just one more product that someone is developing and making money off of until the next latest-and-greatest thing comes along.
