Happy Friday!

I'm so ready for this training to be over.  The guy is apparently their head of customer support, but he's a pretty terrible trainer.  He talks       so       slowly      and     with so    little      inflection      that it's     really      hard     not to       fall       asleep.

This weekend is pretty low-key.  The only plans we have so far are HP DH2 on Sunday, and maybe some baking of HP treats on Saturday.  I plan on curling up with the Deathly Hallows and finishing it before the show on Sunday.

What does everyone up to this weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Friday!

  • We went out to dinner last night to celebrate my doctor's appointment and being cleared to TTC again.  Then came home and watched Love in the Wild.  We never watch any of the dating reality shows, but this show totally cracks me up!

I'm not doing much today or this weekend, which I am excited about.  The lawn needs to be mowed, which theoretically I should do today, but I figure Ed needs the exercise, so I'll probably save it for him.  I also need to finish up my weekly assignments for my class, so I'll get that done today.

  • TGIF ladies, and in 7 hours I will be on vacation from this place - even better!

Blender -glad to hear that you have the all clear to TTC again.  Keeping you in my prayers.

Raynes - trainings like that are the worst!

My weekend is going to be crazy busy (as you all know).  Tomorrow I will be running around getting a few more things for the party, getting the house clean, as well as DH getting the yard ready.

Tomorrow night we celebrate a friends birthday.

Sunday is the big day, my babies will be one Crying. So we have lots of people heading to our house to celebrate. I will take lots of pics (with my camera vs my phone for way better quality), and update when I can.

Not sure how much I will be on next week due to vacation. Taking the boys to Story Land in NH on Monday with some friends. Have a great weekend.

  • Gotta Get Down on Friday!

I have a hair appointment today, and then some people are coming over to meet Myles. We may also head out to Bastille Days and enjoy the sights.

Saturday DH and I have a wedding to go to, so Myles will be with grandma and grandpa. I'm excited to see all of my friends I haven't seen in a while.

Sunday I think we finally have nothing to do.

  • Morning, all. I'm looking forward to a day of writing and training. After that, hopefully some relaxation! No big plans for the weekend--I'll try to see HP and get some reading done.

Hope everyone has a great Friday. :)

  • Kyle gets home sometime tonight. He was expecting a busy day at work and then he has meat to deliver after that. I'll see him at some point. We'll probably spend a quiet night at home tonight. I imagine that he'll be bringing home all sorts of laundry with him, so that will be fun to catch up on. I think we'll also be buying our plane tickets for the wedding that we're going to in September. I booked a hotel last night and I'm so excited just to get away for a few days.

Tomorrow, since he'll be oot for a bachelor party he has given me a list of errands that he needs done. Since I had no other real plans I don't mind taking care of them. I'll also be shopping for some new flooring for our dining room. The animals have pretty much ruined the carpet that we currently have down there. We had it cleaned several months ago hoping that cleaning it may solve our problems. No such luck. So, it's going to be replaced next week. Kyle's best friend used to install flooring professionally so luckily the only cost to us will be the cost of the materials.

Sunday, I'm planning on trying to convince Kyle to go see HP after he gets back in town. I'll also check out the women's world cup match. Otherwise, just the typical Sunday activities of cleaning and laundry.

  • Good morning!  It's the last boss free day here at the office and I got in early so I could leave early.  We don't have much going on this weekend.  Rex has a vet appointment tomorrow morning and we are planning to go to something called Art Out Loud on Saturday night.  We'll see what that's like.  Otherwise, it's just normal errand running sort of things.

  • Gosh, I love that you're celebrating Bastille Day. Nothing quite like a peasant riot that lead to two years of the Terror! LOL!

Do you guys know that episode of the Simpson's where Bart breaks his leg and then starts working on a play and the dialogue looks something like this:

'Kippers for breakfast, Aunt Helga? Is it St. Swithin's Day already?'"

    "'Tis" replied Aunt Helga

For some reason, I like quoting that line complete with bad English accent. My husband responded this morning with "NO NO NO. It is NOT St. Swithin's Day and it's never been St. Swithin's Day. WOULD YOU STOP SAYING THAT." (he was speaking loudly)

So, I looked it up, you know, just out of curiosity. Turns out today IS St. Swithin's Day.

I'm getting taken out for dinner. Big Smile

  • Happy Friday, I am so glad it's FINALLY here!

Last night, DH and I had dinner with SIL and BIL and then played some cards.

Tonight, should be a low key evening I hope. Maybe a movie with DH is in order. Tomorrow, we are officially starting on the nursery with moving stuff out, taping, etc and then painting begins Thursday so I will be shopping a lot this weekend.

    Have a great weekend ladies!

  • Happy Friday!

I am so glad to be back at work today and getting back to our "normal" routine. I am also looking foward to a low key weekend. When I get off today I have to go get the kids and go to the in-laws to get the rest of the kids stuff from this week. We have to go get groceries tonight (hopefully) or tomorrow since our cabinets and fridge are empty. We have no other plans this weekend and DH is off work. It should be nice to hang out around the house.

  • YAY Friday!  Today should be a normal day at work.  Tonight B and I are headed to see Harry Potter, and I can't wait.  Tomorrow B is going to the Cubs game with some friends, so I'm looking forward to lounging and finishing Pride and Prejudice.  It's such a good book.  I can't believe it took me so long to actually read it.  Tomorrow night, we're catching an outdoor concert with some friends, and who knows what's on tap for Sunday.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

  • Happy Friday!

I expect for this morning to go by fast since I'm working on some fun marketing projects. Tonight J and I are going to order in and watch a movie.

Tomorrow we'll be heading down to Colorado Springs for J's grandpa's 80th birthday. Sunday will be yard work and house work. I'm also going to try to talk J into going out for some seafood, I've been craving crab legs like crazy!

    Have a great weekend ladies!

  • Friday is always a good day.

I slept on the couch all propped up on pillows and a heating pad, mixed with regular doses of Tylenol. It seems to have helped a bit. Still took the day off work and waiting to see what the doc says on Monday about staying out of work all together.

They attempted to start patching our road and all of its fabulous pot holes. The only problem is that they really just turned the holes into speed bumps, so it hasn't helped anything. We're a cut through for all of the major trucking companies, since the street parallel to us doesn't allow them. Large tractor trailers and speed bumps makes for the noisiest freakin road ever. I'm so frustrated with the city.

  • Snoopy - I hope you feel better and/or doc agrees its time for you and kiddo to put your feet up for a while.

Kiddo's last day of camp is today and I'm excited for the dinner she's making tonight. Actually, I think I'm more excited that I just don't have to cook!

Tomorrow we're taking her clothes shopping and to a Mariners game.

Sunday Dh and his sister want to get all the kids together - but I may make him go with kiddo alone. I hate completely full weekends and laundry and housework doesn't do itself.

  • Good morning.

We have a birthday party to attend tomorrow so hopefully the rain well let up for a few hours. It's been raining for 2 and a half weeks straight now so I think it's time for a break. I have a major house cleaning planned for the rest of tomorrow. Sunday my BFF is coming in to the city to do some baby shower shopping and then we are going to spend the day together and have lunch and whatnot.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

It's Wisconsin, we celebrate EVERYTHING. In fact there was a 5K race last night called Storm the Bastille. Seriously there's a cultural festival every single week here in the summer.

  • Good morning ladies. I'm at work this morning and exhausted. I've been pretty busy all morning. I'll be at work today, then having home made burgers with DH tonight. No plans for the weekend except to finish unpacking and finishing up Olivia's nursery. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
