What are some canceled shows that you would like to see make a reunion movie? I can't think of any that I would want to make a movie, but there are certainly a lot of shows that I just wish they would bring back.
What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? Do you have any unique items that others may not own and what are they? Blender (for green monsters), garlic press, measuring cups
Is intelligence or common sense more important? I think they are both important. But I am going to say common sense so that you don't get yourself hurt in an everyday situation.

What are your weekend plans? Visiting my nephews in Houston! Attending a 3 year olds party and try to catch up with some friends there.

Best/Worst thing to happen to you this week: Best, DH brought me roses yesterday, Worst: someone said something really hurtful, and I got my feelings hurt.
What are your weekend plans? Going shopping at Uptown Village in Cedar Hill tomorrow (think I'm gonna go alone, or maybe call mom. Haven't decided if I just want to spend the day shopping on my own or not. Sometimes its nice to shop alone.

What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? My Pampered Chef Garlic Press, use it nearly every meal (we like Garlic)

Is intelligence or common sense more important? Hmmm....well coming from a person with more intelligence than common sense, I would honestly say I think its more important to have a little more common sense than intelligence. I think it makes life easier to get by
Best/Worst thing to happen to you this week: hmm. Best: Someone telling me that I look like I've lost weight. That's always a nice feeling. Especially when you're not trying to lose weight. Worst: Realizing this class is going to suck the life out of the month of July for me.
What are your weekend plans? Relax, maybe go to the pool, and study a lot.
What are some canceled shows that you would like to see make a reunion movie? I wish some shows would be brought back, like Friends. And I'm sad that Grey's is going into their last season.
What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? Do you have any unique items that others may not own and what are they?All our pots/pans and skillets. And we grill a lot. We use them almost every night. Don't really have any unique items. I'm not a big cook, so I don't do anything out of the ordinary.
Is intelligence or common sense more important? I think both are very important. Common sense is important because like Sarah said, if you don't have that you are pretty much in danger every time you step outside the house.
However, that being said, you can have all the common sense in the world and be dumber than a doornail and you won't get very far in life. Intelligence, IMO, can't always be learned easily. Not everyone is born with book smarts. It's something you have to work at.

What are your weekend plans? Massage and facial tonight, 8am farmers market then Harry Potter and Sunday meal planning and grocery shopping.
What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? Do you have any unique items that others may not own and what are they? I LOVE my vitamix and use it alot, I use it to make nut butters, sauces, smooties, soups and all kinds of things. I would say most used though are knives.
Is intelligence or common sense more important? I think you need a basic level of both, having a lot of one without much of the other has never worked in any examples I have seen.
Oh no BL, I'm sorry! haha. I heard that, and I guess it could be a rumor, and that would be awesome if it was a rumor.
And I completely agree with you on you can't have too much of one without the other. It just doesn't work.

Best/Worst thing to happen to you this week: It was a pretty standard week. No real highs or lows. Best: Great date night last night DH. Worst: Terrible headache on Tuesday. I really think it is weather/heat induced.
What are your weekend plans? No real plans. I can't remember the last time I had a weekend like that!

Best/Worst thing to happen to you this week: Best: I did 250 pushups last night. Not in a row, and girl-style, but I'm still super proud of myself. My biggest set was 60 in a row. 6 weeks ago, I could do 11. Worst: Yesterday I got sort-of chewed out three times in one day - twice by IM, once by email - by my bosses. More like reprimanded, but still - it sucked.
What are your weekend plans? Some house cleaning and a wedding tomorrow night. I am super excited about it - I've missed wedding stuff a teensy bit, and I'm excited for DH and I to get all dressed up. I have the cutest black dress I'm wearing - I feel really pretty in it.

Our pizza cutter, and our can opener - it opens cans differently, so they aren't sharp, and the top doesn't fall down inside there. I love it. We actually have two, because when we moved, we couldn't find it, so we bought another, and of course found it the next day.
Is intelligence or common sense more important? I'm going to say common sense... if you're intelligent but have no sense, I think it's a more dangerous combination than being ignorant with sense.
I was just surprised that I didn't read it this morning because I made my way through my entertainment pages before I came here. !!Spoiler alert!! I do know this is supposed to be Derrick's last season. Maybe that is what they are talking about?

What are your weekend plans? Going to visit my grandparents. A family reuninon on Saturday - woo hoo - a whole day of people asking when we are going to have kids.
What are some canceled shows that you would like to see make a reunion movie? My So-Called Life, Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell (original cast), I wish the Real World New Orleans (original from the 90's) and Hawaii people would do a follow-up special.
What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? Do you have any unique items that others may not own and what are they? My KitchenAid mixer, my Silpat, my cookie scoops. I have a metric ton of cake baking and decorating stuff.
Is intelligence or common sense more important? Intelligence. Common sense is handy but we would be nowhere in almost every industry in the world without nerds with no social skills or common sense.
I think that was my point, too. The world runs on intelligence. If we didn't have intelligent people, nothing would get done.

Well, I got to go to the middle night premier last night so that was the best. Worst thing? I spent too much money at Old Navy.
What are your weekend plans?
Tonight, we're going to the grocery store (fun Friday night for us). Tomorrow, I'm taking Bill to see HP on the IMAX at 10 AM in Colleyville. Sunday, we may see HP with some friends of mine. However, if they don't want to go, then I will try to talk Bill into going to see the Pooh movie.

Our pizza cutter. It's got a red handle on it but it's not really a handle because your hand is right over where the blade would be--hard to explain but it cuts way better than those with the standard handle.

This is difficult because I know people who live in both camps but there is a rare camp where people have both. Of course I also know some people who live in a camp where neither of those things are present. I'm going to say intelligence because sometimes intelligence can lead you to some common sense.
Best/Worst thing to happen to you this week: Best- I paid a kid $20 to mow our yard yesterday and I my new books came in yesterday. Worst- my adventures with the Green Monster the last 3 days and having problems with my knee (but it's better today after 2 days of no exercise besides walking).
What are your weekend plans? Possibly visiting my grandma.
What are some canceled shows that you would like to see make a reunion movie? Boy Meets World, Ugly Betty and pretty much anything from my younger years.
What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? Do you have any unique items that others may not own and what are they? The past 2 weeks, my blender and my knives. I don't have anything I would consider unique but my grandma got me an avocado slicer earlier this year when I said I didn't know they exist. Well we do actually have a few weird things but they aren't used and I don't even know what they are.

I think both are important but I think I would rather have more common sense.On a similar note as the common sense vs intelligence question, I will say I am loving reading Outliers. It discusses that there is a certain level of intelligence that once you pass that threshold its more about what opportunities are presented to you and your ability to take advantage of them not your intelligence. Example on a scale of 1-100 you have to be at least a 75 but there is no data that shows that someone with a 99 is going to do better in life than someone with just a 75.
You know about Wings! You are the first person in a very long time that know about this show.

What are some of the most used kitchen tools that you own? Do you have any unique items that others may not own and what are they? Most used is Cuisinart skillet, pots, spatulas... Unique, my PC coating trays and tool. You hook the lil trays together...so convenient. I love this dip meat to coat it in batter.

I have some of the seasons on DVD. We loved that show. It is one of my favorites of all time.

Best/Worst thing to happen to you this week: Best: I'm pretty sure I got a new job! I should get the formal offer on Monday, but the principal of the school said she wants to hire me. Worst: I haven't been sleepoing well. I think I hate our mattress and want a new one, which we really can't afford now.
What are your weekend plans? Harry Potter tomorrow night, and some cleaning.
What are some canceled shows that you would like to see make a reunion movie? Arrested Developement, which supposedly is actually happening, Scrubs, the last couple of seasons were so terrible I'd like them to do a movie to give the story a better ending.
