Random Fact Friday

Post your random fact! The weirder....the better!

Here's mine:

Despite the security systems now installed inside all of Disneyland's attractions (and the monitore being watched by park employees hidden from view), couples will still try to have sex while on the "dark" rides (such as Pirates of the Caribbean or It's a Small World), apparently not realizing that the cameras are infrared and can pick up every move. On occasion they are stopped with a warning over the loudspeaker; other times, as they extie, they are met with applause from knowing cast members.

And one more:

Walt Disney was afraid of mice.

Re: Random Fact Friday

  • LOL!

Slightly related, but we didn't realize there were cameras when we went for grad night and our friends got yelled at over the speaker thing for getting out of the boat on It's a Small World. (...and I definitely made out on the haunted house ride - sure they have that on film. Awesome).

My random fact of the week was that baby boys get erections. I'll have to think of another one!

  • According to suicide statistics, Monday is the favored day for self-destruction.

The largest number of children born to one woman is recorded at 69. From 1725-1765, a Russian peasant woman gave birth to 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets, and 4 sets of quadruplets

  • I had to resort to google, but I didn't know this "Your thumb is the same length as your nose".

I knew the foot on the forearm one and the spread of your arms being your height, but I hadn't heard this one before.
