Hi Ladies,
My name is Serena and I wanted to introduce myself to you. I got married April 29 in Livermore. We bought a house in Tracy back in October! I usually post on TK still just because I have met great people there. Not too many ladies post locally over there though so I thought I would come here.

We got married at Garre Winery. I grew up in Pleasanton and lived there for 20 years!
No, you're not far at all! It's nice haivng all of you active on the boards.
We got married there, too-at the Martinelli Center!!! Did you get married at the tent or Martinelli? I've only lived in Ptown for 3.5 years. Originally from Boston. What hs did you go to?
So funny. We were married at the Martinelli Center. I love Pleasanton and wish I still lived there. But I can't afford to buy a house there right now. Maybe in a couple years. Both my husband and I went to Foothill. How are you liking Ptown?
It totally is a small world. I loved it. I read on yelp that they had iffy reviews, but my coordinator was amazing. Everyone loved it as well. Did you have a good experience with them as well? What made you move out to CA? I haven't been to any bars in Danville. I used to go to the Outpost when I lived in Pleasanton. Now I don't go anywhere. Tracy doesn't have anything and I don't want to drive over the altamont after being in a bar. I actually work in Walnut Creek and there are tons of places to go around here.
I wonder if you know any of the people I went to school with. I graduated in 2004.
Welcome! You might have figured this out already, but you press 'quote' if you do want to reply to a certain post. When you hit reply it does not quote anyone and just gets added into the thread.
I had a really good experience at the Martinelli Center, too. When our site coordinator changed 6 months before our wedding, I got worried, but the new girl was great! Everything turned out wonderfully and our guests had a blast!
Oh...I've been to the Outpost! Ohhhh boy! We usually venture out to places to eat in Danville and surrounding areas. Not so much a bar person in my older age.
I moved to San Diego in 2004 with the intentions of going to graduate school. Life got in the way (in a good way that is!) and I didn't go back to school until I moved up here to be with my now husband. I just graduated my Masters program last month. My DH is also from Boston; we grew up in the same town....long story there! We both love it out here!
My good friend graduated FHS in 2001, but I think he brother might've been your year or maybe a year after you.
