I'm starting this because I have fun plans this weekend!
What's up ladies.
Re: Fantastic Friday!
Tonight: Probably doing my housewife duties so I don't have to do them later.
Tomorrow: Meeting a friend at the lake for some friend/baby time! After that I may swing in to enjoy the festivities for Old Hallowell Day. Seth is working. Boo.
Sunday: We decided we would go to the clam festival on our way to a birthday party in Portland. I am so flipping excited. I have never been and we saw that they have a diaper derby. Abe isn't crawling so he can't participate but it will be so fun to watch. And I get to eat clams...and other stuff. Then the birthday party which is a kids party so Abe will have a good time.
Tonight: Sea Dogs game. Tomorrow: Clam Festival. Sunday: No plans
The weather sounds great so this should be a fab. weekend!
So excited to meet Peanut this fall!

Spill your plans lady!
I'm excited to check out the Clam Fest today at lunch and tonight with Matt. Fried dough ... mmmmm.
Saturday Matt will probably have to be up early with the kids (his son and his XW's daughter). Saturday is supposed to be his weekend morning "off" but that is not happening lately. I might post a separate vent about this.
Anyway. Tomorrow I need to clean my house and car, go to the dump, do laundry, and start packing!! I want to get a huge jump on it so I'm not scrambling at the end of next month. Yay new house! Right now it is not totally emptied of my grandmother's stuff but one room is totally free so I may start bringing boxes over and tucking them into the guest room, doing a little cleanup of the new house, etc. to get a head start.
Sunday my parents are probably coming out to the lake with us to hang with Matt's parents and have a barbecue.
Tonight: Red Robin and Harry Potter
Tomorrow: DH's 10-year HS reunion, then hopefully some Clam Fest goodness
Sunday: nothing, hopefully. I hate weekends with this many plans, even if they're fun. I'm a sit-on-the-couch-and-be-a-blob kind of relaxer.
Today I'm relaxing, since it's been a week-long of Mondays at work at the camp. Tonight, we're going to the OOB for my sister's birthday dinner at my parents' house.
Tomorrow, I'd like to go to the gym and then maybe Old Hallowell Day, since I'm also supposed to go to the Liberal Cup tomorrow night to celebrate a nursing school friend's divorce/end of nursing school/new beginning...
Then Sunday: relax relax relax! Maybe make a couple cds (musical, not baby) for a friend... play some PS3... read... bake...whatever I feel like.
Ps. Brianne: congrats to Seth on his promotion! Maybe we'll run into you and Abe in Hallowell tomorrow?
Tonight: Leftover pizza for dinner, a strength training routine, and lots of relaxing.
Tomorrow: Ten mile bike ride with a friend in the AM, then we are headed to Nosh for dinner and the Clam Festival for dessert. We aren't really fans of the food at the Clam Fest, but we love us the ice cream sandwiches from this one stand in particular, and the crafts are fun to peruse.
Sunday: Farmer's market in the morning, the women's World Cup game in the afternoon, and a Cupcake Bazaar and Crafternoon Tea at the Bread Shack in the early evening.
I have next week off because daycare is closed and will be on vacation the week after that. I am looking forward to spending a week doing fun things with my girl and another week doing pretty much whatever I want with the rest of my local family.
Today - Bringing paperwork to the kennel to check it out make sure all my i's are dotted and t's are crossed for bringing Ali over next week. I'm soooo anxious about leaving her
Picking up a couple of things in Augusta, dinner date with H.
Tomorrow - Old Hallowell Day parade in the morning and probably head back over to check some stuff out with H in the afternoon/evening. Adding the finishing touches to our bathroom renovation. This has been a work in progress for over a month so I'm anxious to get it DONE!
Sunday - Cleaning/yardwork/beach vacation preparation. Sunday is the start of my birthday week so I will be baking my birthday cake and making H take me to watch Harry Potter.
I'm taking part of today off because work has been a whirlwind for the last four weeks and I'm drained. It's an issue for a separate post.
The rest of the weekend will be pretty low key (for me). We need to seal up parts of the kitchen so MH can carefully dismantle the bulkhead this weekend. He wants me to be around to lend a hand, etc. so I'll be puttering, cleaning, reading, etc. The weird thing is I won't be able to cook at all so we'll be getting take out or eating out all weekend - not the norm for us at all!
Tonight: Probably start cleaning after the boys are in bed. (yay for exciting Friday nights).
Tomorrow: Finishing cleaning, getting yard prepared, running the last of the errands for the boys birthday party. Then tomorrow night stopping in at a friends house for an adult birthday party.
Sunday: My boys first birthday. Have friends and family over for their party. Then finally relaxing and enjoying my vacation next week.
Tonight dinner with my mom, nana, and Marcus somewhere.
Tomorrow lake in the morning with Brianne and Abe
, then naptime, and then we'll go to the beach in the late afternoon with the dog and meet some friends, their baby, and dog there and then have dinner in Harpswell after. Sounds like a perfect summer day!
Sunday a friend is supposed to come up for brunch in the morning.
Tonight we are headed to Farmington to go out to dinner for my friend's birthday.
Tomorrow doing boring house stuff in the a.m then headed to watch my three nieces for the afternoon/evening.
Sunday we are headed for a all day ride on the bike with friends and Sunday night I get to pick up my "new" car! I am so excited. It's just a 00' Toyota Solara, but it's loaded and in great condition. I can't wait to have a fun car to drive again.
Happy beautiful weather weekend!!!
Today/Tonight: Grilling burgers with Kyle and Dad, trying to have a baby.
Tomorrow: Quiet morning, if I haven't gone into labor then heading to a friend's wedding down in Boothbay in the afternoon and spending some time w/ friends and family.
Sunday: BABY? PLEASE?! Notice a trend???

I was supposed to head down to my friends' place in Saco but the budget and my very tired self said "no!". So Taylor and I went to Shaw's to pick up some stuff for her (Gerber stuff on sale, with some really good coupons!) and then met Daddy at home. We ended up at Texas Roadhouse where one customer wasn't paying attention to where she was dancing and just about fell on top of Taylor in the highchair. I put my hand out and she fell into my hand, looked back at me and realized what she had done. She felt so bad but I was like...WTF!
Tomorrow we are going to Yarmouth. We don''t usually go to the actual festival in town but DH's fraternity brother has a BBQ and that is about the only time we get to see all his "brothers". It's a nice time to visit with everyone and the kids usually have a good time. We'll probably stay for fireworks and then head home.
Sunday I'm hoping is going to be a nice relaxing day but his parents are coming from the island so they may or may not take us out to lunch/dinner. If they don't, I might get some groceries or just watch a movie. I'm so tired of being on the run but I don't think of that when I'm planning my life away. ....gotta stop doing that....
Today- We finally got out of Maine with a car full of bags, gifts, and Sesame Street cuppycakes. Oh yeah, and DH and James too. I took a halfday for cupcake making and packing, but it didn't go half as fast as planned- oh well.
Tomorrow- James turns 2!!!!! We're at the grandparents' place for a pool party with friends and family. Supposed to be beautiful weather, potato salad and 4 character cupcakes are made, and the Hawaii newlyweds are flying in from Vegas to be here! It's going to be an awesome day. James is getting, amongst other things, a tricycle and he's going to freak out.
Sunday- Leave grandparents' in the morning and heading north. Supposed to be a hot one. I'd like to take James to a performance of Vivid Motion's Sleeping Beauty, but I don't know that he'll make it. If that doesn't work out, we'll probably end up in the kiddie pool and playing with all the new toys!
I'm very excited for weekends!
Friday night we hosted our OOT family from Wisconsin for dinner. Lobster Bake with food galore
Today: Abby and I are going to the beach for a bit while Daddy golfs. Baptism and BBQ tonight for our BFF's daughter
Sunday: Church and send off BBQ for OOT family.
I love summer!
