Plans for the weekend - I'm babysitting my niece tonight so my sister and her husband can go see Harry Potter. I was supposed to go see it too, but they couldn't get a sitter and he's gettting deployed shortly, so I'm taking the bullet on this one. I'll see it myself later.
Then working on the house saturday, and my sister is coming up to hang out sunday so we can do another big lowes run to buy supplies using her military discount.
Highlight of the week- the break in the weather! Our central AC is currently being replaced and our sad little window unit was struggling to keep the house bearable.
Lunch with LLHR, formerly FIA was pretty good too!

My plans for the weekend ARE the highlight of the week - my BFF from college is coming down tomorrow AM with her husband and we're going to hang out - they live in Philly. I haven't seen her in an embarrassingly long time so i'm super excited. No clue what we're going to do - maybe just sit around and chat, maybe go to an Os game, whatever - but it's going to be fun fun fun. I cant' wait!!

I don't think we have anything planned this weekend, which is totally fine with me. I work Saturday and then I'm off Sunday. I really need to work on the second bedroom conversion.
My highlight this week was our a/s on Tuesday morning. It was tough not spilling the news to everyone until last night. Our immediate familes came over and we had a cake made by my friend. She colored the inside of the cake pink so that when we cut it everyone would know. It was cute to see their reactions.
My night was made when I looked on FB after everyone left and my Dad made a post that says "Erin announced tonight that the baby she is carrying is a girl. So cool. First granddaughter."
We are planning to head up to Artscape at some point. Other than that we will probably spend time at the pool. My husband told me last night that he may have to work this weekend, which bums me out a little, but since we could use the money, and I stay home, I don't feel like I can complain too much.
Our air was fixed, which was great. Ada's language seems to have doubled this week. She is super silly and makes me laugh.
I have absolutely nothing planned for this weekend. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, though, so I definitely want to go somewhere with DH and DD. I'll talk to him about it tonight and see if we can brainstorm anything.
I want to catch up on my sleep, go to the gym (I can't believe I just typed that), do some blogging, do some meal planning/cooking/baking, prepare for next week's cake class and get what little laundry we have knocked out.
Highlight of the week was the movie last night. I was yawning constantly by 9pm and really though I was a total moron for planning to go to a midnight showing, but I'm so glad we went. The movie was excellent, the people were energized and fun, I sobbed like a baby... it was great. I'm already trying to figure out when I can go see it again.
Cake class and lunch with Wawa were pretty awesome parts of my week, too!
DH's family reunion started yesterday and we're hosting it so we have an itinerary of events over the next few days.
Last night everyone flew in and we met for dinner at my in-laws house. DH, his cousin and I then went to the midnight showing of HP and it was AWESOME! Like LLHR I cried through the movie and can't wait until I can see it again
That was the best part of my week!
Today we're headed to a family picnic at a local park and then we're all going to the Orioles game tonight.
Saturday the women are all going to Reynold's Tavern for tea/lunch in the morning and then afternoon/evening is a crab feast at our house.
Sunday- We have brunch at our house before everyone flies back home. Then I can start cleaning all over again.
Can't until today is over with.
Plans for the weekend are as followed:
Tonight: Grilling out w/DH and A.
Tomorrow: DH will start our deck project, A and I will be grocery shopping. Lunch at home then heading to the park.
Saturday evening: A's heading to my stepmom's for a sleep over, while DH and I go to the O's game.
Sunday: I have a baby shower to attend.
My highlight for the week/month is that DH got a new JOB! He starts in about a week. He will be working days, a regular shift and only 20 minutes from home. We are all super excited. I know he's happy to finally get back to sleeping at night.
Tomorrow: Nothing! Since it's gonna be nice, I will take Harley to the park and lay by the pool, maybe a pedicure
Sunday: repeat of Saturday
My highlight for the week was HP last night with my brother. He knew I really wanted to go and he isn't really a huge fan, but bought us tickets and we had a great time!TGIF! I am finally starting to feel human again and be able to enjoy days again. My mom would want me to but it just doesn't feel right somehow. Anywho...
Tonight - Friend's wedding in Havre de Grace. Such a gorgeous day for it and it's our first night out away from the baby. I am looking forward to drinking and dancing!
Tomorrow - Errands and then crab feast for nestie Bailey's DH's 30th bday.
Sunday - No plans. Maybe pool and playing some volleyball.

TGIFF- agreed. This week has sucked. A lot. I have no highlights, it's just been all around bad- except for the weather I guess.
This weekend I need to do something fun. I don't know what I'm doing tonight, possibly power-washing the deck so that we can stain it on Sunday. Whatever we end up doing, it will definitely involve a bottle of wine. I think H and I might go to the movies tomorrow night (not HP), and I'll probably go to the pool on Sunday.

I couldn't agree more! This may sound odd but I feel like for nearly the past month I have been viewing my life from the outside. I don't know how to describe other than I just have been so busy with so many emotional things going on that when I think back on what I've done the past few weeks, it's like I didn't do things, but instead I just watched things happen. I have issues. I know this.
I'm looking to the weekend being mostly lowkey. I have to do a major clean this weekend for a Pampered Chef Open House event I'm having next weekend (ya'll can come if you want!). The more I do now, the easier it'll be throughout the week I figure. I have a coffee date with another nestie tomorrow morning and other than that, I'll be a simple weekend.
The highlight for me this week...hmm...probably spending time with my BFF at the hospital. We had a really good talk about her going through her current situation and I opened up to her about a few things and it was just nice to talk (despite the environment we were in!).

Tomorrow: Park, relaxing, making a photo album
Sunday: Park, dropping car off for repairs, possibly seeing Horrible Bosses and going out to dinner

Today our realtor asked us to fill out some more documents for our short sale offer so I'm hoping we're progressing. I know I probably have a lot more waiting to go but I'm happy for now.
Tonight - Going to Nordstrom for the anniversary sale and then to Sephora
Tomorrow - Some unpleasant plans that I don't want to deal with in the morning, then probably cleaning
Sunday - Relaxing and spending time with Keefer
Highlight of the week: When DH said DD's name and she looked at him, or seeing daycare pictures of DD on a pony.
Weekend plans: Tonight, possibly services, but probably will be too tired/late, etc.
Saturday: Wedding reception in Delaware (near the beach). It will be fun, but definitely a long day, as we are taking L with us. Saturday night probably crash.
Sunday - Grocery shopping, Lowe's, maybe HP. I CANNOT wait. (I'd really like to go in the am, but I am sure the person we are going with will want to wait until afternoon - she's not an early riser.)
What was the highlight of this week for you, aside from it being over/it being Friday? seeing the baby move in the ultrasound this morning.... it doesn't look like a gummy bear anymore.
