do you remember when maxi pads had a belt?
when i was a kid and would see sex ed movies in school the movies were always old and the pads were held up with belts. does anyone know what i am talking about? thank god they invented that double sided tape. good lord can you imagine wearing one of those contraptions? i wonder when that was. thank god i missed it.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

You know I think it was that way at least in the late 70's. I remember reading "Are You There God? It's Me Margaret" and they talked about the pads with belts. Jesus what a nightmare that would have been.

Haha, this is exactly what I thought of! I remember reading it in the book and then finding some of my mom's tampons and pads and thinking "There's no belt here..."
yeah i was thinking the belts were in that book, too! remember when her friend sent her the post card saying "i got it!!!"? i could never figure out why they wanted it so bad (and still can't figure it out). when i got it i was like "oh crap. that's just great."
Right? I guess they just wanted to grow up. The only thing I ever wanted was boobs.
