P slept in the mamaroo for probably the first 1-2 weeks of his life. Swaddled and strapped in, angled to the side. Many might give me the side eye for it, but he wouldn't sleep in the bassinet at first and doing that bought us 4-5 hours sleep increments, which with a newborn is close to a full nights sleep. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! She's sleeping in it now, it's the only thing that seems to work. Please keep your fingers crossed for us tonight! Just got back from the doctors appointment. Suspected hip displasia or a hip "click" and a mild heart murmur. Next two weeks is chock full of cardiologist appointments and orthopedist appointments. Her doctors seem more worried about the hip than the murmur.

We were told that Robert may have a hip click and it turned out to be fine. Hope it is the same for you! Oh and I LOVED my mamaroo!
