Re: Nursing bras/tops

  • Splurge for a Bravado.

I had a Bravado nursing bra and it was my most favorite ever.

The same goes for nursing tanks -- Bravado's had so much support, I still wear them to this day.

I also had Target's brand for both bras and camis, and although they were cheap and did the job, they just weren't as comfy as my Bravados.

I was checking out the bravado silk seamless. Is that what you have? Looks comfortable and easy to use. Are those sold anywhere other than online so I could try one on? I tried a nursing bra on at target...they seem to run a bit smallish.
  • I agree with MB about the Bravado Essential Tank.  I have 4, 3 white ones and 1 black.  I alternate them and have worn them every single day since the beginning of August.  They are more pricey than other brands but totally worth it. I wish I had just had these from the start.  They are very flattering, so comfortable, very supportive and still look brand new.  I probably will continue wearing them sometimes even when I am done nursing!

I have a Bravado bra too which I like, I just prefer wearing tanks for more coverage.  I just layer them under whatever I am wearing.

You'll have to look around in your area.... Bravado's website might give a list of retailers.  The place I got mine at was a local specialty bra store... also, make sure you go somewhere to get measured post-partum, because it will make a WORLD of difference.

I bought mine there and they had free shipping and 10% off.

  • I liked the Duo brand ones from JCP. Comfy, easy to latch, not too expensive.

I'll check those out too. There is a JC Penny 1 mile from my office.
  • I actually dont fit in any nursing bra I found- I am a 34 H currently and even the 38 H is really hard to find. I bought tanks and do those at home. I dont know what I am going to do when I go back to work. I found some La Leche League tanks through Zulily that I love- I actually can wear them strapless.... LOVE THIS.

  • I looked into the Bravado nursing tanks. I must say they look pretty amazing. It's hard to think about spending $45 on one though. I may just get one since they are so highly recommended and if I want more maybe stalk e-bay.

Thanks for all of the suggestions!

  • Check out You! Lingerie (www.you-lingerie.com).This is one of the ones I got.
