405 in LA shutting down for 53 hrs this weekend
I've heard about this for a few weeks, and it's coming this weekend. DH has a few relatives that live in LA, and I don't know if he's asked them about it. It's going to be crazy for those people, 500,000 cars go through that stretch of road in one day.
I can't imagine what the traffic going around is going to be like. When we were in LA last June, it was bad enough to drive through the city, it took over an hour and I don't think the car made it past 40 mph. Can you imagine driving in that on a daily basis? No thank you! I get road rage already in our little city, I'd probably have a heart attack driving in LA!
