Best thing you did this weekend? DH, DD and I took a trip up to Milburn Orchards for the afternoon on Sunday and had a ball!
Best thing you ate this weekend? Our dinner last night, all-around: green chile cheeseburgers, oven fries, yellow squash sauteed with garlic and corn on the cob with butter and Old Bay. It was like summer on a plate.
Something you intended to do but didn't get to? I'd hoped to get some more cooking in advance done: grilled chicken breasts for a couple of meals this week, the frosting I need for my cake decorating class Tuesday, etc., but it didn't happen.
Anything else to report? I got nothin'.
Best thing you did this weekend? Thoroughly cleaned my car inside and out- it was a productive way to enjoy the nice weather. Then I played in the sprinkler with the dog. It was a fun afternoon!
Best thing you ate this weekend? A TCBY sunday and grilled eggplant, both yesterday.
Something you intended to do but didn't get to? It wasn't really in my definite plans, but I'd hoped to do some house cleaning and ended up not doing any.
Anything else to report? I'm starting a new job next week.
Best thing you did this weekend? My best friend from college came down to visit so the best thing was just hanging out with her and her husband all weekend.
Best thing you ate this weekend? We had crabs on Saturday - yum!
Something you intended to do but didn't get to? I was going to do laundry yesterday afternoon but decided to nap instead. lol.
Anything else to report? I'm so very tired.
Best thing you did this weekend? Nothing really special, but we went to BIL's house on Saturday and Sean got to drive a Big Wheel Jeep. He was so into it, it was hysterical. He just had this intense look on his face the whole time as he did lap after lap around the yard. But then he was very unhappy when it had to get put away.
Best thing you ate this weekend? I made crack dip yesterday, just because I wanted some.....
Something you intended to do but didn't get to? ugh, everything. planned to do a mass filing but DS woke up from his nap early so there are still piles of paper all over the office.
Anything else to report? Happy to say DH is finally painting our bathroom todayThe offer we put in on a house was accepted on Friday night!!! It went through a lot faster than we expected, and they actually took our counteroffer, which we also didn't expect. So, so, so excited!

I met up with a new recruit for Pampered Chef yesterday morning and talking to her got me enthusiastic about stepping up my business. Plus, we were at Panerea early before it got really crowded and so that was nice.

Something you intended to do but didn't get to? a reorg of some boxes sitting in my living room. Guess that'll be added to the list this week along with laundry and more cleaning to prep for this weekend's Christmas in July Open House
Anything else to report? My friend finally came home from the hospital and is on the road to a healthy lifestyle again. 4 surgeries since February...it's now her time to shine!

Best thing you did this weekend? Being at the game on Saturday when my friend got engaged. I can't believe how sappy I get these days... I cried.

Best thing you did this weekend? It was a phenomenal 3-day weekend. I went to a gorgeous wedding, ate crabs, snuggled Mella's darling baby and spring-cleaned my house (better late then never).
Best thing you ate this weekend? It wasn't really what we ate, but the fact that DH and I grilled out last night and enjoyed our patio/garden and ate our own tomatoes and basil in our Caprese salad.
Something you intended to do but didn't get to? The rest of my homework. And I missed the cake at the wedding :-(

Best thing you ate this weekend? - not a great weekend for food. We ate several meals on the run this weekend. Taco Bell's new(?) verde sauce is pretty good though.
Something you intended to do but didn't get to? - finish the demo in our upstairs hall bath. I was going to do it saturday morning while H had to run into the office, but for some bizarre reason I could NOT get the plastic to stick to the doorway. I went through 1/4 a roll of tape and finally just gave up. Since I didn't want my living room covered in plaster dust for the 11entybillionth time I mowed the lawn instead.

Best thing you did this weekend?It's a toss up. Went to a wedding reception in DE, then decided to drive the extra hour to go to the Dogfish head brew pub and see the ocean. We also saw HP
Best thing you ate this weekend? A bite of DH's IPA breaded fish. My food was only ok.
Something you intended to do but didn't get to?Buy stuff at Home Depot/Lowe's. Organize the shed.
Anything else to report?We really had an enjoyable, albeit tiring weekend. We spent 3 hours in the car for an 1.5 hour reception and then another 2 hours to go to the beach. A lot of driving, but it was fun to see DD watching the ocean, even if the water was WAY TOO cold for her.
On the way to the beach, I saw this place selling all sorts of metal animals. Of course there was the requisite giant metal chicken, but I also glimpsed a peacock!
Best thing you did this weekend? Watched my baby girl roll over for the first time. Seeing how much she is learning and growing already is amazing!
Best thing you ate this weekend? That pesto-provolone cheese dip thinger at nestie-Bailey's DH's birthday party. Bailey...who made that and how do I get the recipe??

Anything else to report? Not really...just trying to enjoy the summer as it flies by!Someone's getting a little brother!
Best thing you did this weekend? Clean our entire house really well, like moving all furniture around. It really needed it and although I'm tired, I'm so glad to finally have a clean house.

DH and I were headed to Home Depot to pick up some much needed items when my sister called to ask if we could watch my nephew because she needed to take the baby to the hospital. So we didn't go shopping but got to spend some QT with my nephew. (baby's fine)
Anything else to report? We watched HP and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 last night so we can see Pt 2 this coming weekend. Can't wait! Also, my weekend is Sun/Mon so I'm enjoying today off as well.
Best thing you did this weekend? We had a fabulous weekend! DH's family reunion was at our house so we had a chance to spend some quality time with his grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins. Went to the midnight showing of HP and then saw it again on Saturday. We had fun at the O's game on Friday and enjoyed the fireworks after the game. All in all it was a wonderful weekend!
