Re: Good Morning!

  • Good morning! We don't have anything too exciting happening soon. I'm getting my hair taken care of on Wednesday which I haven't had done in over a year. We went to see HP yesterday so that was our exciting thing for awhile lol

  • Good morning!  DH and I just got back from PA on Saturday.  They didn't need me at work today so I'm going to finish getting all the laundry done.  Hopefully they need me at work tomorrow.  I can't stand sitting at home all day.

  • I'm counting down the days until I see Stan.  The distance is so hard. Crying

Today is off to a pretty good start.  I'm off the fully caffeinated coffee and I haven't died yet.  I made the mistake of Googling how coffee beans are decaffeinated and it reaffirmed my decision to buy locally processed coffee.

  • Good morning. Nothing too exciting in my future. Just heading off to the Library and cleaning our house. Woo hoo!

I always try to forget this when I'm ordering decaf on the go. Sometimes ignorance is bliss ;-)

  • Good morning. Our revolving door of family/house guests is FINALLY over. I'm spending the day getting caught up on laundry and getting things organized and packed for our trip to San Diego later this week.

While not exciting exciting, it should be nice to be pampered for a bit.  I want to do something to my hair prior to seeing my wife next month but I'm very indecisive.  Part of me wants to go really drastic but part thinks I should just freshen up what I currently have going on.

  • Good morning! Nothing too exciting happening around here. Another friend that I have known forever is getting married next weekend which is exciting to me though! Simon bug and I just got up, and I'm eating a peanut butter jam bar for breakfast with a glass of milk. I took some bread out of the bread maker but I think something went wrong. I have never prepped and set it for hours later and I did last night and I'm wondering if the yeast didn't activate properly or something. Its suppose to be a bigger loaf abut is really small like the regular ones I make. It tasted okay I guess.

  • Good morning!  It's not a bad Monday morning.  Miss Sophia has been napping for quite a while (praise baby Jesus!) and I was able to get a shower, do my hair and eat breakfast.  When she wakes up I'll feed and dress her and then we'll go to the mall so I can get something to wear to a funeral on Wednesday.

What library do you go to?  I've never stepped foot into a library since I've lived down here (it's been 13 years Embarrassed).  Do you know if the library lets you borrow books on e-readers?

I'm really looking forward to it. Allan has had his hair dealt with more often than me so I'm looking forward to it finally. Mostly it came down to having to schedule an appointment because my hair was starting to cause pain in my neck.

What drastic changes are you thinking?

  • Hey everyone.  I'm back from vacation and have to put my nose to the grindstone; our lease is up at the end of the month and we will finally be moving out of this craptastic house (chosen by H since it was 5 minutes from the motor pool gates).  Yay for moving parties!

the crapy small one in our town. It's free and I dont want to pay for the nice one when they do the inter library loan anyway. I don't know about e-readers, but I do know that you can download an audio book. So why not an e-reader?

Right now my hair is shoulder length and wavy.  So anything drastic would either involve taking inches off or color.  I've always wanted to find a stylist that will give me the hair that he/she thinks looks best on me.  I've said over and over to stylists to do what they want and what they think is best, but no one has yet to come up with something good.  I mean, they always do a nice job, but it's layers, highlights, etc.  I think a dramatic makeover would be cool but I don't want to suggest something that would look awful on me.  I want the experts to do it but I've never found anyone willing.

Have you ever seen' Tabatha's Salon Take Over' on Bravo?  Well her salon is a couple of hours away and I've considered  making an appt with her because she'll do exactly what she thinks is best and not just give me something that is pretty is and pleasing. kwim?

  • Morning! I've had quite a few "duh" moments at work today, so it's definitely a Monday. I'm anxiously awaiting the doctor to call - I hope he has some news on this gallbladder/anemia issue I've got going on. All I really want to do is play on the iPad I got this weekend, but must be productive today. Sigh.

Definitely know what you mean. My hairstylist I've been seeing since I was in 6th grade does this if I ask. I had really long frizzy curly hair and I just asked her to do what she thought best and she chopped it shoulder length with side-swept bangs. It was the cutest haircut I've ever had. When you find the right hairsylist it makes hair appointments much more enjoyable.

  • Afternoon! I am at work today (on lunch right now).  I am working on trying to get my stuff organized and ready for next month the official start of my classroom curriculum.  Nothing going on today.  I worked out this morning and am hoping H will mow the backyard when he gets home tonight

It was fun, we sucked at taking pictures though...DH and I forgot our camera charger, MIL forgot her camera, and so only the teenagers were snapping them.

DD was a  perfect angel and got her sea legs on the ship--taking her biggest and longest steps on board.  If I can get any pics from someone, I'll put up a few.
