Re: Good Morning!
I'm counting down the days until I see Stan. The distance is so hard.
Today is off to a pretty good start. I'm off the fully caffeinated coffee and I haven't died yet. I made the mistake of Googling how coffee beans are decaffeinated and it reaffirmed my decision to buy locally processed coffee.
I always try to forget this when I'm ordering decaf on the go. Sometimes ignorance is bliss ;-)
While not exciting exciting, it should be nice to be pampered for a bit. I want to do something to my hair prior to seeing my wife next month but I'm very indecisive. Part of me wants to go really drastic but part thinks I should just freshen up what I currently have going on.
Good morning! Nothing too exciting happening around here. Another friend that I have known forever is getting married next weekend which is exciting to me though! Simon bug and I just got up, and I'm eating a peanut butter jam bar for breakfast with a glass of milk. I took some bread out of the bread maker but I think something went wrong. I have never prepped and set it for hours later and I did last night and I'm wondering if the yeast didn't activate properly or something. Its suppose to be a bigger loaf abut is really small like the regular ones I make. It tasted okay I guess.
What library do you go to? I've never stepped foot into a library since I've lived down here (it's been 13 years
). Do you know if the library lets you borrow books on e-readers?
I'm really looking forward to it. Allan has had his hair dealt with more often than me so I'm looking forward to it finally. Mostly it came down to having to schedule an appointment because my hair was starting to cause pain in my neck.
What drastic changes are you thinking?
Right now my hair is shoulder length and wavy. So anything drastic would either involve taking inches off or color. I've always wanted to find a stylist that will give me the hair that he/she thinks looks best on me. I've said over and over to stylists to do what they want and what they think is best, but no one has yet to come up with something good. I mean, they always do a nice job, but it's layers, highlights, etc. I think a dramatic makeover would be cool but I don't want to suggest something that would look awful on me. I want the experts to do it but I've never found anyone willing.
Have you ever seen' Tabatha's Salon Take Over' on Bravo? Well her salon is a couple of hours away and I've considered making an appt with her because she'll do exactly what she thinks is best and not just give me something that is pretty is and pleasing. kwim?
Definitely know what you mean. My hairstylist I've been seeing since I was in 6th grade does this if I ask. I had really long frizzy curly hair and I just asked her to do what she thought best and she chopped it shoulder length with side-swept bangs. It was the cutest haircut I've ever had. When you find the right hairsylist it makes hair appointments much more enjoyable.
The Dogs and Us
Welcome back! We missed yoooou.
How was the cruise?
67/200
It was fun, we sucked at taking pictures though...DH and I forgot our camera charger, MIL forgot her camera, and so only the teenagers were snapping them.
DD was a perfect angel and got her sea legs on the ship--taking her biggest and longest steps on board. If I can get any pics from someone, I'll put up a few.
