DH and I have been going back and forth on getting a Keurig. I am not a religious coffee drinker but I'd say 3-4 days a week I drink it in the morning (same with DH but not necessarily the same days). I feel like one of these one-cup makers would be so much easier, especially with the different flavor options for each of us. I just have a hard time justifying the purchase since we have a perfectly good regular coffee maker. Worth it or stick to the one we've got?
Re: Keurig - Worth it?
I love mine. Mostly because I hated wasting coffee with a regular coffee maker when i only drink one cup. I had a french press for a while, and that worked fine, but the Keurig is just so much easier.
So if you are both lazy and a single-cup at a time household, I vote yes.

I am seriously considering one too. I don't drink the amount of coffee I used to (none really right now, but usually a cup in the morning) and DH only drinks it sporadically. I think I am leaning toward getting one and everyone who I know that has one loves theirs.
Back in the day I would make a whole pot of coffee on a saturday morning and just sit there and drink most of it until noon; there's no way I can do that now. So I feel like I waste a good bit.
Ditto this..... DH doesn't drink coffee and it was a waste to make a whole pot for me. It's been totally worth it for us. DH will use it for hot chocolate.

For your needs, it's totally worth it. If you drank multiple pots a day then I'd say probably not the best investment.
I absolutely love ours. We have the one that makes a 6, 8, or 10oz single cup, without a reservoir.
It's wonderful if you don't drink multiple cups of coffee per day. DH and I typically each drink one per day (although, I usually drink a tea while he has a coffee). My brother usually drinks 2 cups in the morning and brinks a thermos with him to work, so a Keurig would not be the way to go for him.
I love the variety of coffee flavors and teas, it's always fresh, and super easy.
ETA: we waited until Kohls had it on sale, then used a coupon on top of it to make it more affordable.

This is us as well. DH and I are only sporadic coffee/tea/hot chocolate drinkers (moreso now in the heat of the summer - we drink a little more regularly in the winter), so the only coffee maker we've ever owned is a French Press. The Keurig is convenient and I do appreciate the variety of options available. Plus, as Jadey said, it's nice for when you have company over and you can offer them whatever they'd like without wasting anything.
For all of the people who are semi-regular coffee drinkers, have you done the math?
I believe that ounce for ounce k-cups are typically a lot more expensive than high quality whole bean or ground coffee. There are "deals" online, but you can also shop around for coffee as well. Also it is possible w/ most coffee makers to make a 2 or 3 cup pot, so there isn't much waste.
It's one thing if you rarely drink coffee and just want to have something that is easy to make for guests, but it's rather laughable that people think there is less waste w/ a Keurig than w/ a regular coffee maker, it really doesn't get more wasteful than a single serving of anything wrapped in plastic.
I get this- but I was also trying to point out that pouring a cup or 2 of coffee away a day, etc. is still cheaper than buying a whole new machine and paying for k-cups vs. buying regular coffee.
agreed. That's why I have the reuseable filter cup. It works just like a regular coffee maker - just one cup at a time. and yeah, 2 or 3 cups is less waste, but it's still waste if you only drink 1 cup and toss the rest.
I keep the regular k-cups on hand for company, but for just me I use regular coffee in the filter cup.

This is what I want. Mainly because if I make anything less than 5-6 cups in my coffee maker it tastes like poo.
This is us as well, we are not daily coffee drinkers so the Keurig works wonderfully for us when we have company or just want a random cup of coffee/tea or hot chocolate.
I drink a 1-2 cups a day. I make a 4 cup pot (= to 2 mugs) every morning in our 12 cup coffee maker. I toss the 2nd mugful about 1/3 of the time. If we have company, I can easily make a large pot all at one time and keep it warm for 2 hours. I'm not sure how throwing out the large perfectly good coffeemaker to buy another appliance that used single hard plastic cups less wasteful. I'm also not really a fan of flavored coffee, since most of them just seem like variations of sugar to me. I can also heat water for tea or hot chocolate in the microwave in less than 5 minutes.
I am not a fan of it. The coffee is too weak for me.
A cheaper (and tastier) way would be a french press... have you tried that? You can make tea in it too. You just put the coffee grinds in, hot water in top and slowy press down. The net traps the grind on the bottom and you have fresh coffee on the top.
I got mine for about $10 at Marshalls
I thought I was the only one who felt this way!!! Everytime I've had Keurig coffee I end up drinking like 5 cups of it b/c it's like drinking tea to me.
