What do I do???
So we went to KC this weekend and stayed at a Doubletree. We were half way home when I realized I left my make up bag on the back of the door it is one that rolls out and has a hook so you can hang it. I called the hotel and they just called to tell me they dont have it. I know I left it there. It has all my makeup and brushes and hair products. The guy called and told me the lady that cleaned out our room is off today so he will give me a call back when she returns tomorrow. What do I do if they dont find it???? We are talking probably $200 worth of makeup and hair stuff.

I hate to tell you this, but I'm not sure if there is much you can do. I would continue to call and bug them...
That sucks though, I would be super bummed also...

The chances of something like that going into the "lost and found" probably isn't very high. And the hotel is not responsible for anything you leave behind.

Thankfully not me. Yikes I cant even imagine loosing all my hair/makeup products.

Oh no, I feel bad for you
I'm hopeful that once the maid returns tomorrow that it will turn up. If I were you, I'd probably bug the hotel about it a few times with phone calls.
