Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Is this appropriate?
A friend of mine just forwarded my resume to someone who "might" be hiring. My resume is pretty good, but in my opinion I sell myself better with a cover letter. Is it appropriate to e-mail him and tell him more about myself as I would in a cover letter? If so, how soon should I do it (it's literally been about 10 minutes since she sent the resume) and what would you say?
