Any of you live in mount laurel or Medford areas?
What are they like? My brother, SIL ( and nieces) are thinking about relocating there which we would be sooooo excited to have them this close. My brother works in mt laurel so just trying to get some info.
Re: Any of you live in mount laurel or Medford areas?
Thanks LD! I will let them know about marlton.
I know school districts will be important to them. When we hung out with them this weekend, the biggest annoyance for my brother has been his commute, plus they can get twice as much house in south jersery, good schools etc.
I am excited about the thought of my brother living this close so it would be nice to give them some options in areas to look.
I agree with LD that both Mt. Laurel and Medford are nice places to live. It might depend on what they are looking for. Medford is a bit more rural and a farther drive into the city and major highways. Mt. Laurel is right off major highways and is a closer drive to the city and major shopping. My ILs are in Marlton, it's a nice town with good schools but traffic is horrendous. I don't know what it is about that town, it's seems much worse than surrounding towns.
I think they're all good options. And would be great for you!
Have they also considered Haddon Twp? Collingswood? Haddon Heights? .. Mt Laurel is nice, but very trafficky. It has a lot of townhomes for sale right now, and they are decent prices. Morrestown and Haddonfield have the best school districts in South Jersey, but the prices tend to be higher for SF homes than in the other mentioned towns.
I used to live in Haddon Heights, personally. And have many happy clients who I have relo'd to Morrestown/Cherry Hill.
there is no way they will move to a townhouse, they live in a 4 bedroom ranch house now.
i talked to him today and right now they are just working on getting their current home up but looks like it might happen. squee. so excited.
this is like the ONE family member i don't mind being close to.
