Please rec. a Sushi Restaurant in ATL
Hi Ladies, the boss is going to the ATL convention center next week and wants reservations at a good sushi restaurant. please rec. your favorite.
thank you!
Re: Please rec. a Sushi Restaurant in ATL
MF Sushi is very popular here and probably the most well known. Bluefin and Rise Sushi also come up but are smaller places.
I haven't been to Rise yet but have heard good things. It's also near the convention center.
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
However, there are a lot of great sushi places in Atl. Yelp is a great way to find one in the area you prefer.
How is the service when you go there? I took Dh here once on his Birthday because it's rated highly on Yelp. It took forever for us to get food ,drinks, etc. I was so disappointed. Maybe I should give it another shot? Have you guys tried Bishoku in Sandy Springs? It's my fav but it's going to be closed when the OP's boss is here in town.
We didnt know about Bishoku! I'm surprised because the doctor we went to for this IVF is in SS. However, in case you're interested here are the ones we did try: Sushi Bar Yu-Ka (very good), Shoya Izakawa (very good), Umezono (good, we go there most often b/c it's next to the Japanese bookstore we frequent, Tomo (pretty good food but overpriced and bad service), Bluefin (awful food, hated it)
My favorite sushi restaurant that I've been to is Thaicoon, but it's in Marietta. I think they have one in Atlanta on Briarcliff Road (not sure if it's the same quality/experience), but the Marietta one has HUGE, fresh sushi--not like a lot of places that serve tiny, pale, raggedly cut pieces. It's worth a shot to look into the Atlanta one. This really makes me want to go right now actually...
