cleaning shower...

we had our bathroom done about a year and a half ago...love the tile and caulk but it easily gets soap scum on the bottom. yesterday while cleaning i saw a little mold, i think the crevices are too deep in one spot and water just gets stuck. i used my favorite 'scrubbing bubbles' but anyone have tips for keeping the scum away? anyone use that 'clean shower' stuff daily?

Re: cleaning shower...

  • We use the spray after each time we shower - we have used it for years, and have never had any mildew issues.  I think we usually use the Tilex brand stuff, but we've also done Target's generic brand, and that's worked well.

  • I use the daily shower spray and also I had one spot in the corner where water seemed to sit and I use a squeegee on that wall/tub area and it really helps to keep the shower drier and cleaner.

  • good Ole bleach will work on mold and mildew issues.
