I had a big lunch today and am going to the gym for kickboxing tonight, so H will probably have leftovers, and I'll probably have a lean cuisine. Exciting, right!? Tomorrow night will be better, probably salmon pasta salad.

The plan was kebabs on the grill but DH wants to see Transformers 3 badly so we got MIL to come watch B tonight and we'll likely grab some sushi before the movie.

We were going to have chili and cornbread (already made, pulled out of the freezer and thawing in the fridge) but we just got an impromptu invite to dinner at a friend's house, so instead we're having burgers & dogs and typical fixings over there.

i really don't feel like going to the grocery store, so we'll have some sort of combination of items I have: Whole wheat pasta, salmon, and zucchini. Probably a cream sauce because I have cream cheese and milk to use, but no red sauce.

We planned on having burgers/veggies on the grill but I had a horrible day at work (new Diva Director who thinks someone gave her the President title). So we ended up going out because DH could tell I was not in the mood for cooking. We went to Chesapeake Grille. I went there on Saturday for lunch with my Mom as well. Lovely local establishment in Calvert County that just opened a second location in Bowie.

I sorta made this Grilled Chicken with Lemon Basil Pasta from Pioneer Woman. DH was supposed to grill the chicken for me last night but forgot, so I used shrimp instead. I intended to halve the recipe but remembered that only long enough to cook the pasta, so I had twice the amount of sauce needed. Oops.

I also baked some zucchini with mozzarella on top and pulled some French Rolls out of the freezer (Alexia brand - they have the best stuff).
