Hope you ladies don't mind me posting but thought this would be a good place to start. We have 2 ferrets that we are considering rehoming. We just don't have the time to let them out of the cage as we used to when we first got them. They are both male about 3-4 years old maybe. They are both extremely sweet and loveable. We have a cage, water bottle, food bowl and litter pan to go with along with 2 homemade hammocks. Let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested in them.
Thanks!

Re: ferrets need re-homed
Nice.
FYI: You're lucky you posted this here on puppies and rainbows B-more and not anywhere else on the TN.
My Goodness...another food blog. Featuring: Macarons from a old post with a photo taken by my mom for a break from my crappy food photos!
I'm actually surprised nothing has been said, but I'm chalking it up to it having been a weekend post. We may be puppies and rainbows but people trying to rehome their animals because they're too lazy to take care of them usually brings out some less-than-pleasant responses from the animal lovers among us.
ha I know, right?
OP: really, rehoming your pet on a message board because you don't want to take care of them anymore? What has changed since you got the ferrets?
Translation: I'm tired of taking care of the ferrets. Listen--if you are too busy to take care of pets, WHY one earth are you trying to have a kid? Kids are way more high maintenance. Maybe you should rethink your plan until you can make thoughtful adult decisions.
First i posted here because you ladies are in Baltimore as am I and you never know who might be looking for a new pet. Second its not necessarily due to the fact that we dont want to take care of them. We take care of them as well as we possibly can. The get their litter changed, fed and water all the time. We let them out when we can but because DH and I work completely different shifts its a bit hard to time them being awake when we are both home and awake. We may have to re-home them in the near future anyways because we may have to move in with my mother to help her and she has already said they can't come. So i thought i would start looking around now and seeing if anyone would be interested.

I know how much maintenance kids are considering that i already have 1! Also we aren't actively trying to conceive. Right now we are more at the stage of if it happens so be it but we aren't trying to prevent it either.
