Freezer meals for a friend who just lost her mother
One of the girls I coach with just lost her mother to cancer in her brain. Any thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Anyways, she is currently living at home with her dad because she was helping take care of her mom for the past 6 months. We are wanting to take over some meals as I know this week is going to be crazy for them.
Here is where I need help. Do any of you have any easy but good freezer meals I could prepare and take over there for her family. I use the same few recipes so I need some help thinking out of the box. Thanks!
Re: Freezer meals for a friend who just lost her mother
Lasagna
Chicken or beef enchiladas
Chicken and noodles
Baked Ziti
One box rigatoni noodles, one jar pasta sauce, 8 oz ricotta cheese, 1 pkg mozzerella cheese, 1 pkg grated parmesan cheese
Cook noodles according to package. Drain and put in 9 x 13 pan.
In a bowl mix together sauce, ricotta cheese, half of mozz cheese and half of parm cheese.
Mix sauce mixture evenly into noodles.
Cover with remaining cheeses and bake covered 30 minutes at 350.
TaterTot Casserole
Chili
Chicken Tetrazzini
Salsbury Steak
I'd go with comfort food.
Mrs. Reem's mommy mac is my go-to food for those occasions.

I like to pair it with some sort of salad or fruit for something healthy and some cookies or bars.
Or you could take a breakfast casserole for something different.
